This caused a lot of fun at my job, my local grocery store and gas stations, and even the radio station I listen to. What an example of how two global tech companies caused a global system outage. Any of you suffer anything other than a few hours to a few days inconvenience? I couldn't pay for my groceries with my card and as I don't carry cash, had to wait until the next day to shop again.

Since I'm retired, it's pretty much a self-explanatory question. But I'm sure glad that it didn't happen at a time I was flying somewhere. My son-in-law is an IT tech for Avista, so it will be interesting to get his take on this the next time we visit.

But one thing that was a little strange was that they said it mostly affected users of Windows 10, which I thought was close to being obsolete. It really exposed a huge weakness, that we're too dependent on one operating system and that Windows is too dependent on one internet security company. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
