This is why I don't vote for Trump

and what I have believed about him since he started running as this is what he detailed in his book as to Trump's thought process.

Grisham was his press secretary and spent time with the family.

I always knew this about about Trump. That's why I don't see him as a racist or what not because he lacks the conviction to be a racist. He has very little solid morality and tries to say or be what the person in front of him wants him to be to obtain what he wants from them. He has very little respect for his followers and he doesn't share their beliefs save corporate donors who want the big tax cuts and deregulation.

I keep hearing folks say Trump loves his country and is running to save it as he keeps selling, "Why else would I do this when I had a very good life." Why Donald? Because you can. That's why you waited until you were 70 because you were living a very good life and having fun banging around, but 70 hit and you went, "Why not? I can manipulate these rubes to become president and outthink these politicians. I'm Donald Trump. I think I'm smarter and better than all of you. My rich buddies will thank me if I get them a bunch of nice tax cuts." He pays a team to track his ratings, track his polling, vet crowds for topics he can sell on, and plans his sales pitches as he goes. Trump is running for president for no other reason than he can and he feels like it. Not to save the country or Make America Great Again or that trash, but just because he looks at the world as deal he can make to get what he wants. President is just another accolade to him, something more to brag about.

Trump doesn't give a flying crap about his followers, never did. Doesn't care about the Republican Party. He only cares enough about America to make money, but if he saw America losing a war he'd make a deal to get out rather than stay and die with the sinking ship.

Trump is purely about Trump lacking enough conviction to involve himself in much else. His only real belief in his superiority and him as the central force of his existence. Everything else around him is a sale to be made whether getting a woman, becoming president, or making a deal to on a new building.

I knew that whole "say it enough" mantra before Grisham stated it. It's a sales tactic to manipulate people. He knows it well.

We usually vote in politicians, lawyers, and occasionally some business folk. They don't necessarily speak the truth all the time or they use lawyer or politician speak. But this is the first time we've voted in a pure salesman, one of the better salesman to ever do it, but a salesman nonetheless able to sell America on him as president with the morals and mindset of a salesman who is always selling to get what he wants.

There's lots of reasons why never have and never will vote for Donald Trump, but at the top of the list is because he's an a$$hole.

I still haven't decided if I'm going to vote for Kamala Harris, the Libertarian candidate, or someone else. I'll probably wait until the voter's pamphlet comes out before I decide.
