From Twitter: Jim Harbaugh on 49ers draft pick "He'll compete at the nickel."
It may work, he's a strong safety they're going to try to convert to slot corner, who should be a serious hitter, and will probably bring up the level of physicality in the secondary...but seriously?!? With a first round pick???
ROFL!!!
Good one Niners!

EDIT: It get's better. Matt Millen called this a "good pick!" He was dead serious too!
If Millen really likes the pick you just KNOW it's a bust!
I am reading that Hawks were going to pick him if he fell a couple slots. Don't know if that is true but if so . . . .he cannot be that bad.
I HIGHLY doubt that report. Seattle CLEARLY has no need of a safety, much less one who likely may not even beat out the backups we already have, and who has ZERO chance to start.
If they take a safety/CB it will be late, as always.
No, the name the Seahawks wanted was Dominick Easley DT from Florida who ended up in New England.
Dan Quinn obviously had connections with him, and Easley is one of those high character (team captain, and a bit goofy in a fun way) guys with a super high motor who had Seahawks type of player written all over him, and only dropped because of the knee problems.
Once New England grabbed him, then trading back was inevitable.
Not surprisingly New England snagged him...leave it to the Patriots to know when a good thing falls in their laps.
This is why the Patriots are always so good...
