Beast Quake - The Sequel

Here it is for your enjoyment. (Note the great block by Lockette at the sidelines)

Even "The King" is impressed with Marshawn's run.

Great note on Lockette making that block, and then he's the one who catches up to the play inside the 10 and makes another. That is some hustle!

Gotta love the crotch grab, been too long since we seen that...

You guys need to see this, the two runs side by side...notice how they almost synch up with each other? Spooky. http://gfycat.com/DiligentWavyCopperbutterfly

Lockette actually made 4 blocks on that play. One to start in the middle of the field. Two on the side line (After Lynch shrugged off Peterson he tried to get back in the play and Lockette got him too) then sprinted back down to get the last block. Really great effort. If I had a son who played WR I would show him this play as an example of how to play when your number isn't called.

Watch on the run the play (and "effort") of Cardinal Antonio Cromartie #31 from the beginning - He wants no part of Beastmode.

Among other superlatives; The balance; omg, the balance. The sideline was victimized as wells as the Cards D.

Great spot there Kalibane!

One reason the two runs appear to sync up is that it is I believe the same play. I read in the paper this morning where one of the Hawks said that they knew Lynch loves this particular play, well, no wonder!

Definitely the same play; a 17 Power. The LT, LG and C block down to the right, the RG pulls around the formation and leads the FB into the 5 hole. This one was actually blocked better than Beastquake 1 when the RG failed to make the hole, but absolutely the same play call.

Ive been saying Lynch is as good as any back in the league for a couple of seasons now and I got some grief for saying it. Last year the argument was that Peterson was definitely better. Well....not this year.
And Slim Shady is just slim this year.Murray.Meh ,maybe for once he hasn't been a china doll. And his line is superior as is the threat of a deep vertical passing game.

So who is better than Lynch right now?Is he the best back in the league?

That was indeed a sweet run but I sure hate to see him dive backwards into the end zone and land on his back like that. You'd think for a player of his age and mileage and a bad back that he wouldn't do that. Love the guy and just don't want to see a celebration Injury.
