Probably ourselves, such as injuries and bad luck. The schedule looks a little rough, too.

But overall, I think next season should be our best group yet. Time to prove it.

Dallas, Green Bay, Arizona... all of them were better then the Hawks at some point last year and have done nothing to show they aren't going to be better this year. You can't factor in 'injuries' in a hypothetical comment, but if I had to pick one... I think Dallas may be the one. Now, they have the OLine we all dream about. All 3 of those teams have shown they can beat us or come damn close (we don't beat GB 9 out of 10 times) --

This is also the first year Pete, his understaff and the players themselves will have to take a stand in the clubhouse. The ones that have been 'paid' vs the ones that want to be or simply haven't been. There seem to be a few vets with issues. Issues that can easily disrupt or split the clubhouse. If that happens, it's game over. I hope I'm wrong.

I was just responding to the question of "who can stop us this year" and injuries can. Because our team is freaking loaded. Dallas actually really scares me because they also have tons of talent and some vengeance on their mind. My coworker, a Green Bay fan, was just gloating about their talent on offense. He admitted their defense is once again a liability. I am confident we will take our division. Arizona scares me if Carson is healthy all year.

Hey, nice to see you, PF! I hope you stick around for more than just a cup of coffee.

Who knows how it is all going to play out, but like you, I don't see an impending challenge that should cause us to start shaking in our boots. We definitely have to be the favorites in the NFC.

For me there are a couple of wild cards other than health on our team depending on how things work themselves out.
In no particular order:
How well will the OL do after replacing 40% of the starters?
Will Graham be a huge difference? It could be awesome, or when the plays break down (see above) will Graham be on the same page as Wilson when he scrambles?
Will Bennett actually come to play or be a malcontent?
How much better will Jordan Hill and Cassius Marsh be this year and can Hill dominate like he started to do last year before the injury?

I think we will have another fight on our hands for the Division Championship and wouldn't be surprised if Arizona won it.
I see at this point the NFC HFA will be between Green Bay and Dallas with both teams being real tough to beat.

Really, I think it is too soon to say. I know this is a fan forum and we are discussing hypotheticals. I just remember last year thinking our schedule looked REALLY, REALLY tough, but when we got on a roll (as other team's faltered) it just was not the same set of teams we were worried about at the beginning of the season. Part of that was due to injury (Cards QB, Niners D) and part was that teams just were not as good as we feared (or we were better - who knows???).

Dallas will be interesting to watch. Their O-line is surely something, but they lost their league-leading RB (in DeMarco Murray) and replaced him with some rather C-list players. If the Cowboys have the success on the ground in 2015 with Darren McFadden in lieu of Murray, I will be surprised and worried all at once. The reason, IMHO, Tony and Dez were so good last year is Murray was healthy all year long and gouged the league with big game after big game. Having a significant ground game threat makes a big difference. I don't see it in Run DMC, but if McFadden has anywhere close to the success that Murray did, this will be a team to watch in the NFC, for sure.

I was going to answer the question similarly to the answer above. I think the only way we don't get back to HFA is if we face a lot of injuries, or we form the super bowl hangover and implode. The team talked about how hard it was to come back after one, coming back after having made it there twice might be harder still, but I have faith in Pete. #WilsontoGraham #GOHawks

I'm not into the hand wringing about schedules this time of year. I remember people lamenting the fact that we had 5 10:00am starts in 2012, but we won 4 out of 5 of them, a winning percentage that was almost identical to our overall w/l percentage. Then last year everyone was worried about our backloaded divisional games, but we peaked and ran the table.

There's just too many unpredictables to handicap a schedule this far out. Bradford gets hurt in preseason, Harvin implodes, Palmer goes down mid season, and so on.

I hope we draft a G for the oline and maybe a great wr. We can stand to improve on offense.

Next year? The draft already happened, over a month ago.

Yeah guys I have been out of the loop for awhile. What I should have wrote was I hope we get some free agents on the offense.
