I don't blame him, but I sure as hell wouldn't allow myself to demonstrate it to the country 2 weeks after the fact like a jilted boyfriend.

To me, he sounds like a guy who's a step away from completely cracking.

My guess, he won't last long in the NFL. The mental part of his game hasn't come as far as Wilson's has, in one year more time. At this moment, he's Michael Vick. At best. That's his tippy top upside. Vick.

I don't see him still in the NFL ten years from now, I don't think he has the mental strength to do it. Sherman always plays mind games with the weak minded, (notice he doesn't mess with the strong minded?) and right now Kaep's mind has been totally focked with.

I don't know about all that, but I definitely see some HUGE games coming up the next couple seasons against the Niners for Sherman. Sounds to me like Kap immaturity is going to create a "force" situation, which is a HUGE mistake....

Guys, I just wanted to say I have already had the fantasy of Richard Sherman hoisting the lombardi and thanking God, his teammates, Pete Carroll and especially Kaepernick, "for throwing two interceptions in the 4th quarter that allowed us the gracious opportunity to play in SB 48". I would die if Sherm pulled that off.

Thanks again Kap. I feel a new Romo may have been born.....

Yup.

That whole interview was one long 'tell' for his state of mind. He's *seething* inside and he can't shake it.

I don't blame him for seething.
If I screwed up my teams chance to go to the Super Bowl, and against a hated rival to boot, I would be just like that and i bet so would most players in the NFL.
When people are ultra competitive like most of these guys are, it gnaws at them and maybe in some cases almost take over their lives.
I just hope he doesn't find a way to use it to play better.

I don't blame Kaepernick for seething, either, especially at Richard Sherman for the choke gesture and the rant in the post game interview. I'm not going to condone behavior like that simply because he happens to be wearing our jersey.

But when you're the quarterback, the leader of your team and face of the franchise, you don't lower yourself into the gutter and start trading barbs with your rivals. You don't hear Peyton Manning doing it, you don't hear Tom Brady doing it, you don't hear Drew Brees doing it, and you certainly don't hear Russell Wilson doing it, especially when the best retort he can come up with was a laughable statement like "if I would have thrown the ball 1 foot further..". Besides, one foot further and that pass in all likelihood would have been incomplete. That route was pretty well covered and there wasn't anyplace for Crabtree to go but out of bounds. It was a bad decision, especially given it was first down and enough time remaining for another 3 plays. Kaepernick putting lipstick on that pig isn't going to make it look any better.

His comments, if he had to make them, should have been made at home to his dog.... Definitely not to the sports media after committing 4 turnovers in the second 1/2 (I count the sack/strip/kick play too). If I didn't loathe him so much, I'd feel sorry for him for how gigantic an err in judgment this was. Kaep'n Puss!

Future is in here to get our collective goat for sport. I've shown him where my goat's tied up too often...ain't doin it here. What a crybaby his boy is.... Oye!

Kap threw what should have been a perfect ball. He just chose to go at the wrong guy, on first down to boot. Sherman's play was made even more amazing by the fact that the rapist pushed off and Sherm was still able to elevate far enough to tip the ball (intentionally) to Smith who had made an intelligent hustle play. Its the second tip interception of the year for Sherman who volley balled one to Thomas vs the Giants earlier in the year and yet many pundits and Mr 80 IQ Kap have called it "lucky". And now the idiot running back with a big arm who cannot read defenses, dresses like a gangster for post game pressers and kisses his ridiculously tatted biceps has the gall to criticism someone who is truly intelligent and studies his craft. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt. I hate the frigging 9ers with their whining b**** coach and their truly "thug" players. Heres to 4-12 for the next decade punks.

Unless we get a Superbowl Ring, there will be more rounds of people dissing us like Kaep.
And I second all comments made against the Whiners and their thuggish QB Kaep.

Almost 48 hours to kickoff. When we get our SB win. We will be in tears and Kaep will be in tears for a different reason, and we would have one notch in our belt.

Next season it would be time to go back to work and get us a second Lombardi. That is the mark of a truly outstanding defense. Can we consistently beat everyone in the NFL and be a number 1 defense year in and year out. It is possible at least for a few years.

The best part of all of this is Sherm is in his head already and the new season has not even begun. Keap will now have to deal with his comments next year when he blows another game against us.

I would say, advantage Sherman (Already laying the seeds for next years division defense ;)

"Thuggish" might be going a little too far, at least as I understand the term to be, ie someone engaging in criminal behavior. I objected to its use when it was directed at Richard Sherman so if I'm to be consistent, I need to object to it's use when directed to one of our rivals, no matter how objectionable I find him to be.

But I do agree with the spirit of your comments, and of those already posted. Kaep is a whining crybaby.

Everyone is in Kap's head, even fans that post on Twitter. That's what motivates him to work hard. So actually, thank you Richard Sherman. You helped our QB and our team immensely.

Good luck today I think you guys win! Take it home baby!

LOL. You're welcome, though you might want to wait for an actual decent game to be played by him against Seattle before saying that. If Kap wants to work on continuing to turn the ball over like Edward Scissorhands against Seattle, I won't be complaining.

Hey a lot of good or even great QBs have played poorly on Seattle. Credit to your D, stadium and crowd. Good luck today.

You were right, I was wrong. To do that to the best O in history proves how great your D is. Congrats on your big win! You deserve it.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad Wilson got a ring before Kaep.

Kaep can focus on the "woulda coulda shouldas" while Wilson is polishing his ring.

While Wilson was at the Super Bowl last year to learn and become accustomed to everything, Kaep is busy whining and probably trying to find a chick drunk enough to hook up with him.

The only lesson Kaep can learn: be more like Russell

Yeah..... Our 2nd string DBs looked scared of the #1 offense in history. Can we please give Pete, John, the D, O & ST the full credit they deserve?

Don't worry, we have the WHOLE offseason to take care of that!

Besides, wouldn't it be fun to sit back and let all the talking heads do it for us?

All doubters look like fools now.

Look forward to an offseason of praise and quality FAs looking to take a paycut to come to Seattle for a ring.

Classy post Future... lord knows I didn't see that coming either, and as you know I have been supremely confident in that defense for a long time.... Thanks.

I read a comment in one of the other forums that went something like this:
Kap just said if the Broncos had scored another 36 points they would have won!

That Defense of ours really is special. The whole team was extremely focused, but the Defense set the tone early and often.
