Schottys offense with his were going to run and you can't stop it then throw it over your head attitude is swagger. Wags has swag. I've seen plenty of hard hits and big plays this year.
For all the people whining about the good old days it really wasn't very good the last couple of years, especially when Thomas was out of the lineup. I'm quite pleased with the teams progress and attitude right now. I guess the word of warning is they were actually 8-4 as I recall a year ago. Let's finish and seal the deal this year.

Russell doesn't have the type of swagger that we're talking about. He's too nice of a guy, and everyone knows it. It's not an insult. There have been plenty of HOF'ers, and not only QB's, that did not possess that type of swagger, Merlin Olson being one that comes to mind.
Hawktawk wrote:Russell is an assassin. He really is a nice guy but not in your face like Rivers who I greatly respect BTW.But he hates your guts for 60 minutes and has a burning desire to win and lead men as much as anyone. Just look at his dead shark eyes when he's on the field.
Russ is like a description I heard of John Stockton by the Worm Dennis Rodman." he's one of the dirtiest players in the league, he comes across as a nice guy but then he will stick a knee in your thigh and talk some junk". Russ just sticks a knife in your throat right when you think you have him beat.Or he will throw a shoe and get the opposing team penalized or draw the 9ers offsides in the NFC title game and throw a 37 yard TD on 4th down or he will pass up the short route and throw a 34 yard TD on 4th down to stun Carolina.
Loved Merlin Olsen both on and off the field as a broadcaster. IMO Russ will join him in Canton someday.

We can play them tough and win just like the Ravens, who we could also win against.
Plus KC will be beat up by the Chargers maybe Maholms is injured you never know.
politicalfootball wrote:I said Maybe Maholms is injured, what I meant was wear and tear, (you know beat up like by the Chargers who are tough to beat. )
No I'm like River I never wish a season injury on nobody, especially Maholms for our game.

A win this week guarantees a playoff spot, a win against KC guarantees fifth seed.... regardless of Arizona outcome.
