Merry Christmas Hawk Shackers!

Postby Eaglehawk » Tue Dec 24, 2013 10:03 am

Just turned Christmas here in my part of the world and thought I would wish you and all of your families a happy, peaceful and loving Merry Christmas.
This is our first Christmas together as a Hawkshack family and I wanted to tell all of you how much I have enjoyed this so far and how much this feels like home to me. (Yoder and Makena T.Y.)

Let this Christmas be our first Christmas that the Seahawks declared with one voice: "We will not go out quietly into the night. We will not vanish. We will stand and fight."

Agape love to all on here.

Merry Christmas!!!

Now I got the Chinese Turkey from a Christmas Story in my head. Cracks me up everytime hearing them laugh when the waiter chops of the ducks head. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all.

Thanks for the post Eagle, and a Merry Christmas to all of you! I was going to post something similar, but I'll leave it here.

With that said, fellow Shackers, thanks for coming aboard! I really mean it, you ARE the lifeblood of this forum. The Shack has only been up for 11 days, somehow it feels much longer.

We currently have 73 Members, 79 topics and 1334 posts...in 11 days!

Also, a big thanks to everyone that reached out to former P.I. members. It was a strong community, which was about to be dissolved. It makes it all worth it to see you coming back together.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!

Time for some eggnog!

The wife and I will be spending a quiet Christmas together. She has to work tomorrow and we aren't hosting any family. I've just tackled a major home improvement project that should keep me occupied for the next couple of weeks. But all is well. We are thankful for what we have.

Merry Christmas everyone!

The reason that it feels longer is the fact that most of us already know each other. We know the strong points, the weak ones, the tendencies, rivalries, debates, & so forth. This may be a new house, but the family who is moving in has been a family for a long time. Merry Christmas Seahawks fans, it's an AWESOME time to be a fan of THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS!!

Rotts post above ("Rottism") is best filed under "Rott of Ages" I find it very considerate of Rott to spread a little Christmas cheer to make the Big Guy happy. (you see what I did there...)

I didn't realize that Hustler was still being published. I would have thought internet porn would have wiped it out by now.

Mele Kelikimaka all. And thanks for this great media. I should probably apologize for my many Harvin rants, but the closer we get to our dream of a title, I seem to be more and more consumed by everything surrounding Harvin and where we are because of Harvn's antics. See, I just turned a wonderful Christmas thread into more talk of Percy Harvin. Hmffff. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THE VOICES STOP?!?!? lol....I hope and trust everyone is enjoying this holiday and remind you all to be safe, happy and perhaps even fat.

We met up with a group of friends for a quick gift swap and brunch this am. One of the 10 year old boys unwrapped his gift to see the Hawk decal on the box and nearly wet himself in anticipation... turns out it was a #11 jersey - his excitement instantly turned to bewilderment and in his best trying not to cry voice says "Wilson is number 3, who's number 11?"

Hurry back PH, there's a whole generation of Hawks dying to meet you!

OMG....perhaps a sign of this bad economy? #3 would have cost many times more than #11, I would think (j/k).

Today the wife and I hit the Northshore (Kauai). We pulled into the Hanalei pier and as I was backing in, my eye caught that beautiful Hawk logo on some guys hat....I didn't even finish parking before lowering the passenger window and yelling...what's up Hawk fan? While pointing at my own Hawk visor. The guy, Hawk fan to the core, righteously let his family continue on to the beach without him, waiting to talk Hawks with me, LOL.

What was his first comment? 'hey...I'm stuck here without a TV" His first question? "anything I should know...what's the latest on Harvin"? I just told him I didn't want to ruin his Xmas and that I felt we'd be fine this week vs. the Rams. He persisted..."Is Harvin going to play"? I assured him he wasn't and told him not to expect Harvin to play anytime soon. He looked dejected and asked..."so, do you think we screwed up with Harvin". I said, no, we didn't...but Pete sure the hell did. :/

"Rott of Ages" — I dig it. Bigtime.

Would be a great title for the Fox cartoon rott's pilot episode: (in all lower-case, though; that's my thing, you know) rott of ages.

Got an idea for how that pilot's story would run.

Everywhere we go, everywhere we look, there is — unfortunately — rott, the dogg of decadence who is hellbent on hunting us down.

If I can sell this thing to a major network, Hawkstar, I'll be more than happy to give you a financial cut for penning the toon's pilot title. (Print this thread as a sort of contract. It's official, right here.)

Matter of fact, I'm always game for titles of other potential episodes, if anyone else is interested. S'pose one might say it's like an inclusively decadent group, this symbolically suggestive dogg of ours — a club rott, if you will. ;)

Feel free to throw me some scraps in a PM.
