Official Seahawks vs Vikings Game Thread

Postby savvyman » Sun Dec 06, 2015 10:33 am

As goes Adrian Peterson so goes the Vikings. I have always enjoyed watching Peterson run as when healthy he always performs at an all time elite level. I imagine the game plan is very basic. Contain Peterson. Make the Vikings pass. Get a lead and control the ball with our running game to further limit the opportunities to run the ball by Peterson.

Could today be the day where Thomas Rawls vaults into the Rookie of the Year conversation by actually out rushing Adrian Peterson?

Two straight weeks that Rawls have fumbled.

One of the big benefits that we have always had in our running game in the past - and maybe took for granted - is that Beast Rarely ever fumbled.

That blows. Clearly a fumble, but with the crazy ass officiating this season, it may still be our ball

Beast had his moments but this is an alarming trend. We cannot win this game making a bunch of mistakes.

Nice to see Clark in the game so early. He so strong. When he gets a hold of a player that player always goes down.

Game is shaping up to be an old fashioned smash mouth running - defensive hard hitting football game.

D looked solid. Nice to see that short route was covered - no place for Bridgewater to go with the ball.

Good morning, Gentleman! Prefer not to pick each play apart at this juncture in time. I see a BIG SIZE UP going on with these two teams. If there be mistakes, let them occur FEW AND FAR BETWEEN but EARLY. Get that crap out of the system. Defense is looking much better today!

Russell looking like the Russell of the prior 3 years - great decision making and play making.

Most impressive in this first TD drive is the Seahawks overcoming 3 offense penalties - something they have not been able to do all year long.

Awesome to see them overcome the silly flags, but we had the nice assist on the defensive holding ~ we were punting without that flag.

A TOUCHDOWN in the first quarter for the Seahawks! Well deserved! Rawls redeems himself and I love seeing Russell think on his feet today the way he's been doing. It is nice to see good defense and, Willson has also been stepping up well, too! I think, Gentlemen, that they've found themselves. Baldwin said they've been trying to.....I certainly hope so.......

Do I see The Seahawk's starting to "Impose their WIll" on a good football team?

Flags are starting to stack up a bit - that's 5.

Clark is a beast. The hits are stacking up on Bridgewater - he may not finish this game.

End of First Quarter and Seahawk's have "Imposed their Will" all over this Vikings team.

I hope the coaching staff continues to stay aggressive in their play calling.

Thomas Rawls Running is too much for the Vikings to handle. Could get 150 yards today?

Let's throw a prop over to KJ Wright who has shut down AP each time he has caught the ball.

The Ref's have called some.... 'odd' penalties against the Vikings so far. That "defenseless receiver" and the leg kick 2 seemed ticky-tack. I wish the refs would just let them play. But we'll take it and this Great Start to the Game for the Hawks!!!!

Love Richard Sherman on the sidelines, too. He's into the game!

Yet, another TOUCHDOWN! I see the offense and defense actually doing so good work here! There's an aire of "cockiness" by the Seahawks and I'm LIKING IT!!!! Agree with the strange calls. I'm not sure where the officials have been training for their calls. Margarita Ville??? Love seeing the action being spread around the players in our team. It's been fun so far!

For the first time all year - The Seahawk's remind me of the team from the prior two seasons.

They have finally Imposed their will on another team.

I see this so clearly that I am going to Strike Up The VICTORY CIGAR at Halftime!

Let's hope not. In the NFL - like in chasing pretty girls - good things happen when you stay aggressive.
