Our rookie RB

108 yards I want to see more of that. On only 12 carries.

Bobby Wagner 10 tackles without assists, he is still great
Frank Clark one sack all his. Then Jefferson and Jordan teaming up on a sack.

Also Penny had a 9 ypc . Then course we have Wilson with 10 ypc. I think our running is going to be just fine this season.

Our other rb Davis was very efficient catching and rushing. We also still got Carson. What do you think about that ? Like all opinions, come forward with it.

Saw the good and bad Penny, as long as the good is there, In all for him receiving some carries, but if he gets to the line and starts bouncing like he did in the next series he's in, In good holding him off the field until he learns not every carry has an escape route. Though that one drive was awesome! I'd sign up for more of that, the rest pass.

I didn't feel like anybody on that defense deserved any accolades of any kind... pass rush was non existent again, baaad against the run, young player blown coverages, and the LBs seemed to be confused and uninterested in playing a football game.... tackling was poor ( recurring theme).

Inconsistencies across the board is killing this team, the only thing that's been consistently good, is the line play, and running game.

Would agree he is a rookie and has a few things to learn over from college. So you think he's got something ? I do too don't you think the potential is there ?

Would agree for the most part about the defense . Am sure Pete Carroll will be spending our highest draft on a LB or the DL . Or he should anyway.

Penny's best game by far. Perhaps with that he can move up to #2 on the depth chart.

Today's game looked very similar to our first game with the Rams. We kept the game close but at the end, a big malfunction by the offense killed us. That's the problem with the run-first offense: You have to be nearly perfect to keep up with a versatile, high power offense like the Rams, Saints, or Chiefs.

I think Penny has Davis's job for the taking but then Davis is our screen pass outlet he caught 4 or 5 today . Pete will use Penny often after this one. I like him a lot, glad you're on the team, Penny.

They have a good mix at RB and with the OL opening some good holes, the RB's have some room to run.
One thing I noticed is the Rams were pretty soft on the edges against the run. It may have been Ifedi
and Simmonds getting the job done on the rights side, or it may be a weakness of the Rams. I haven't
watched them that closely this year other than against us to really know if it's a common result.

Pete says that Carson will be ready, but with the way Davis and Penny have been playing, I doubt that we'll see him get many touches. We have a mini bye following our TNF game, so it would make sense to rest him tomorrow and have him ready to go vs. the Panthers.
