Tri Cities

Should be OT, but I rarely visit that page so I’ll just post it here. I was just in the Tri Cities coaching in the quarterfinals and I was planning on letting you know RiverDog, but it totally slipped my mind. We played at Edgar Brown Memorial stadium- pretty cool venue for a HS football game. I haven’t been to the east side in a number of years but the weather was perfect. We played Tri Cities Prep, a big well coached and pretty talented team. Also we stayed in Pasco and ate at Dickey’s- they were awesome. Anyway just thought i should let you know that everybody we encountered over there was extremely friendly.

Hey, mykc..

I wish you would have given us a heads up before the game as I would have gone and watched it and hopefully met you afterwards.

Glad you enjoyed your stay here. Edgar Brown is a nice facility. It was a rock quarry back in the '50's before they converted it to a stadium. I played in my first varsity high school football game there, saw lots of great games over the years.

The weather was perfect yesterday..cold, no wind, lots of sunshine. My thermometer this morning reads 22 degrees.

Yeah the weather really was perfect- I was worried it would be in the low 30’s. That’s pretty cool that you played there. The idea to turn that old quarry into a stadium was genius! I’ll try to remember to send you a message if we play in your neck of the woods again. It won’t be this year because it’s all West-Side teams in the Semis!
