Anthony wrote:Okay, this whole did not like the way Wilsons started is getting old and is not always true example Wilson was 2-4 in the 1st qtr. we are really going to say that is slow when you only get 4 attempts. I mean basically, then any QB who is 0-1 had a slow start. But let's look at 2nd qtr 5-8. Now lets look even further- of his misses 3 were 3rd and long 7 or more yards. So sorry none of that says started slow, it says limited attempts and lots of 3rd and long
RiverDog wrote:Anthony, Russell started out the game 4-9, including missing high to Doug Baldwin in the end zone from 15 yards out that resulted in us having to settle for 3 points. It was a slow start for him as from that point, he went 18-22.
Russell had 31 attempts for the game, so completing 4 out of his first 9 represents a little less than 30% of his passes, so it is statistically significant.
Anthony wrote:First of you should relook at the play, if you did you would see 2 things, 1 DB stopped and then started again, 2 a guy right in Wilsons arm motion causing him to not be able to follow through. 2nd and again the point was starting slow 4-9 is not starting slow, it is a lack of attempts and since he is not the play caller try asking why it took so long for them to adjust. So the fact he did not start slow he just did not get the attempts, and again he does not call the plays. So sad.

You forgot to include the bad hamstring.
As I said, 9 passing attempts out of 31 for the game is roughly 30%. No matter what you are measuring, 30% is a pretty big slice of the pie.
Anthony wrote:You forgot you have nothing. wow 9 passes is 29% of his passes spread out of 2 qtrs. That means he got to through 22 in the 2nd half you think it mattered him being able to get into a flow? Of course and once again 4 of 9 is not starting slow, it is not have enough chances. The reality is your are reaching badly and it shows, its really sad, but given your agenda not surprising, but sad.

Make your mind up, Anthony. If you say that he didn't start out slow, then why would you say that it took 17 minutes for him to "get into a flow"? You're contradicting yourself.
Also, 17 minutes (Russell's 9th passing attempt was at 12:48 in the 2nd quarter) divided by 60 minutes is 28%. Russell's 9 attempts out of his first 31 passing attempts is, as you noted, 29%. Pretty evenly distributed.

Still not bringing nothing to the table, sad

Nothing needs to be brought, you add nothing to any conversation. I don't make a habit of making the less intelligent even more self conscious, besides you're doing a bang up job making yourself look the fool as usual. I don't need to bring anything, for someone that brings it on himself.

Good on ya, both. As for myself, were about were I figured we'd be right now (maybe a game ahead of schedule) and in great shape for our late season playoff push.
