Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle

Seattle Seahawks S Tedric Thompson (ankle, chest) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and has been ruled out for Week 16. OG D.J. Fluker (hamstring), S Bradley McDougald (knee), DT Jarran Reed (groin, oblique), LB Tyler Ott (illness) and OT Germain Ifedi (groin) did not participated in practice and are listed as questionable. DT Shamar Stephen (foot) and LB K.J. Wright (knee) were limited during practice but are not on the injury report. S Maurice Alexander (concussion), CB Shaquill Griffin (hip), DE Dion Jordan (knee), OT Duane Brown (non-injury) and DE Frank Clark (elbow) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

The Seahawks secondary is banged up at a bad time with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs passing attack coming to town.

Kc is far from 100% as well although we have more. Kelcie scares me more than anyone else . Ware and hill are banged up. I guess we will see. Next man up. GO HAWKS!!!!!

Hopefully McDougal can play, having backups starting at both S positions is a recipe for disaster- especially if one goes down. Hopefully Reed and Ifedi can go too. As much as I want us to have a good showing against KC the reality is this game isn’t nearly as important as week 17 so if anybody is on the fence it makes sense to sit them this week.

I don’t agree. We are not in the tournament and nothing is guaranteed next week either. Beyond that the 5 seed going to play the least horrible team in the nfc least has a lot better chance getting to the divisional round than the 6 playing in Chicago which is the scariest team in the conference right now. All hands on deck .

Our only chance will be to keep Mahomes off the field with our running game. If we aren't running the ball well it's going to be a long day. One of talking heads on TV today said KC has the NFL's worst run defense.

I'm not too optimistic about this game, mainly due to our secondary being so banged up. Like the previous poster said, we'd better bring our 'A' running game or KC will put up 30+ on us, and our offense simply can't keep up with that kind of scoring. Additionally, the forecast is calling for rain, and Russell hasn't played well in adverse weather conditions.

The Redskins losing yesterday helped our odds of making the playoffs. We own tiebreakers over everyone else that's in the hunt for a wild card. We could lose out and still make the playoffs.

I'd be surprised if we win this game.
Fluker and Ifedi on the OL are questionable.
Penny is also questionable, and Carson is still bruised from a few weeks ago.
Reed is hurt on the DL, but might play and Griffin along with the 2 Safeties are questionable.
KJ is back, but on a count, so that should help a little.

With all the bumps and bruises along with the performance limiting injuries combined with our shallow depth,
I don't think we can hang with KC for 4 quarters.

The fact that this game is not hugely critical to us means that most of those that are questionable are probably going to sit this one out. It's imperative that we get those guys healthy if we expect to make a decent playoff run.

The Chargers losing last night takes some of the pressure off of KC, too, but there's still more on the line for them than there is for us. They win tonight and they'll sew up HFA in the AFC.

Ifedi will be grabbing even more than usual I'm afraid since he's hurt.

I was never down on Ifedi like some were and are.
I think he's progressed pretty well this year and he looks to have a solid future.
Our OL is pretty thin now if he and Fluker are out.
Simmonds is on IR so it leaves only Fant and Pocic with a couple of relatively unkowns as backups.

We are so going to get rammed up the butt tonight, which is why I cannot watch it live(but it will be recorded on my DVR, just in case). This team is too injured for this game and a playoff run.
I am happy with the season though. Not bad for a rebuild year. I cannot wait until next season. We will be better and stronger.

Seahawkgal don't fear, the Seahawks franchise will be in the playoffs playing with the Cowboys. This season. To quote former QB Hasselback
"We are going to win"
