LOL yeah I was just on one of Dallas's boards and they are more worried than we are.

Don't ask me why - maybe too much time on my hands waiting for 10... er, uh.... Midnight to come so I went and researched who reffed all our games this year and all the games Walt Anderson reffed. I didn't look to see if any of Walt's games had a huge reffing error in them or how many flags were thrown on average but you might find this intersting anyways.

IF Zeke gets a less than a 100 yards, and IF we get more than a 125 yards rushing we win. The rest is wrapping.

I'd probably nudge your 125 yards rushing up to 150 for a guaranteed win, but I essentially agree with your take.

I don't think the game necessarily hinges on the run game. We've shown that if the opponent takes away our run game Russ can beat them over the top. We'll come out trying to establish the run but much will depend on how the Cowgirls are trying to defend us.

If we score more points than them we win. That's the only guarantee ...

Guarantee might have been a little too strong of a term and 150 yards might be a tad low as we're 7-2 when we rush for 170+ (the two losses both being to the Rams). But I have a cold, tall one waiting for you if we rush for over 170 and lose.

I think the Cowboys do try and take away our run game. If they are successful in doing that, there's two factors that will then determine the outcome.

1. How quickly Schotty adapts to their defensive scheme and abandon's the mantle of "We do what we do".

2. Which RW we get. The one that drops balls from heaven or delivers INTs like candy.

There is no way you could say RW relievers INTs like candy... he only threw 7 this year and his career high is just 11. He has had periods of inaccuracy but that typically doesn’t turn into him handing the other team the ball.

Need I remind you of the NFCCG vs. Green Bay?

Usually we script the first series and see what happens. If the run is effective then we have established the run. Same thing with the pass so I guess we just establish either one in the beginning and go from there.

No, I was at the stadium that day. He has had 2 games total like that in his career (both ironically against Green Bay) and 122 where he hasn’t been a turnover factory. I would say overall that shows he doesn’t throw the ball away like candy. With that being said if he does have a few turnovers that would greatly diminish our chances but, like Bob said, the last time he threw a ton of INTs in a playoff game we won- so who knows.

Actually, GB lost it. The W went into our column but that was more the result of GB taking a knee after RWs last INT.

Don't see a lot of picks by Russ. If Dallas D has a weakness its vs the pass, also lost to a lot of running QBs and I could see Schotty dialing up a few more planned runs for Russ today. The concern is the # 5 run defense of the Boys vs Carson and Co and our 4.9 yards per carry run defense vs Zeke.

Who knows?I haven't had a feel for this team all year. I felt very queasy before 9ers on the road and Im nervous today. All I know is its second weekend in january and I'm going to watch some Hawks ball and have some beers. Doesn't get much better than that unless its first weekend in february and I'm still doing it.

And if the refs DO screw us blatantly AGAIN I may literally pick up a different pastime. HT has about had it with biased officiating. Please let them play Coleman and crew.....
