Hawks should keep him around, if not as a player a team mascot

IMO that was Beast's last hurrah. It's not clear if he even wants to come back.

He showed an amazing nose for the goal line. What? 4 TDs in 3 games? Its a great way to end a career,a neat story to salve the wound of a devastating string of injuries that derailed a potential championship run. Certainly Lynch will be a HOF guy, should be first ballot IMO but will get punished for his wars with the press and the league establishment. As for coming back? no way. If that's the best we can do at RB is a 34 year old guy we are screwed.

I see us drafting another RB probably in the middle rounds and maybe as soon as our 2nd 2nd round selection.
I'm on record as wanting AJ Dillon who's around 250lbs but isn't a sloppy 250 like Lacey was. He broke a lot of
tackles in College and can be an alternate hammer to Carson giving him some rest. With Penny going under
the knife for an ACL injury, he may not be ready for the start of the year and might end up on IR to start which
means we would need another RB. When Penny went down there were reports PC wanted to sign Lynch then
to be a tandem power running team. When Carson also was injured, Lynch became a necessity. Someone
like Dillon can fill that role and possibly become the heir apparent to Carson as his career winds down.
