NFC WEST CHAMPS!!

It’s about time! Probably going in as the #3 seed, but let’s keep our fingers crossed for the Pack and Saints losing out!!!

Good win against a tough, tenacious Ram's defense. But our own defense was just as tough and tenacious today.

Fantastic defense! Keeping a solid offensive team like the Rams out of the end zone pretty much certifies us as legitimate. Obi's bust played a whale of a game, as did our LB corps. Now we have to root for the Titans. If they win, there's a good chance that we could have a shot at the #1 seed.

Say goodbye to Ramblow! Rams are in real danger of missing the playoffs.

Kudos to a great defensive effort, DK is clutch, Jason is golden. it’s nice to be off the stove and playing Seahawk football. Also, Alton Robinson and Jordon Brooks are gonna be good. Kudos to JS.

More impressive:

The goal line stand (from 1st and goal on the 2!!)
or
That 4th quarter TD drive?

Who were these guys on the field today & what did they do with the Seattle defense?? Today was a good day. I bet this ticket back in June.
I liked the goal line stand best. So proud of my team today.

Both were good, but for a D that’s been roasted all year, the goal line stand was tremendous.

Just playing rams without Jeff Fisher over there is a letdown but maybe Bruce will be in town soon

So, who do we want to play? Rams, Bears, Cards... it will be one of those, without a miracle with GB and NO losing out (don't bet on it) -- Tampa goes to the winner of the NFC LEast and we have 2 of those 3 teams will getting in. My opinion is we do better against predictable QB teams, so the Rams or Bears. The Cards are totally unpredictable with Kyler running around, so I'm going to root for the Rams.

Nice bet... I know I told this story a time or two but I don’t bet on the Hawks anymore... I cleared out my bank account and bet on them (like 50:1) to win the SB the year they lost to the Steelers... still annoyed. I was a poor college student but a win would have netted me about 30k...

It's amazing what the addition of a good player here and there can do for a bad defense. Looks like a completely different unit than we saw early in the season.

I think I see the "heart and soul of the defense" torch being passed from Wags to Adams.

I wish that I could have made my annual trip to Vegas this year and laid down a bet like yours. Oh, well...

Green Bay and NOLA both play in the early time slot, we play in the afternoon. If either the Packers or Saints win, we might as well rest our starters and treat the Niners as a glorified preseason game. If they both lose, then we play balls to the wall.

If you’ve listened to Pete’s pressers this year he was pretty emphatic: “We’re gonna get better. We haven’t been able to get our group on the field long enough to get in sync, and with no offseason we just aren’t communicating well yet....”. Forgive me for doubting.

Jamal Adams: “Everybody out there, they got to start putting respect on this defense’s name, because this defense is playing lights out,’’ Adams said. “And to me, we’re the best defense in the league, and you can quote that. You can do what you want with it. But at the end of the day, I believe in these guys, and I believe in this coaching staff.”

Pete: “There were times during the season here when everybody had enough statistics to go ahead and blow us out, like we weren’t worth anything on defense,’’ Carroll said. “This defense is good, and they’ve shown it, and they’ve declared. This the kind of defense that we played in years past when we really had a good team down the end of the stretch.”

Looks like the hero of the game was Benson Mayowa's Helmut. Goff dislocated his thumb and broke it on a play during the game. May not be able to finish the season. Ouch, and that does hurt even thinking about it. And to keep playing with it.

If Goff is ineffective with his thumb, I'd prefer the Rams but the Bears are unpredictable.

Or the Cards. If the Packers beat the Bears and Cards beat the Rams, the Cards with get the 6th seed and the Rams would back into the 7th.

I would bet that we play the Cards. I’d love that #1 seed, but I’m afraid it’s not likely. The lambs are spiraling and I think they will lose. It’s a shame they flexed the Bear/Packer game; t’would have been nice to “know” where we stand so we could ease off on playing Carson and others. Oh well. It’s go time.

I will guess the Rams are going to be a crapshoot . It’s arguable Goff is the biggest problem on the offense . This kid coming in is a mobile Qb, shorter but a guy with swagger that has had some success in previous situation . As for Az Murray is playing but has a lower leg injury and IMO his wheels are his biggest asset . It’s why they play the game right? :D :D

The team I worry about the most is the Packers. They've won their last 5 in a row and 7 of their last 8, including last week's decisive win over a very good club in the Titans, in inclement weather, holding the league's leading rusher to less than 100 yards on a night that was supposed to favor a hard runner like him. Aaron Rodgers has thrown just 5 picks all season and is the favorite to win his 3rd MVP.

We're in a much better position this season than we were last year at this time. We're a lot healthier and are getting a number of key players back for our playoff run, like Greg Olsen, Carlos Dunlap, and Brandon Shell. The defense is playing the best it's played in years. There's good reason to be optimistic.

I really think that we should be pulling back some vs. the 'Niners, at least in the 2nd half. I see where the Steelers are sitting Worthlessburger.

Packers just suffered a major loss with their starting Left Tackle going down today. That could be the 'hole' that teams use to disrupt Aaron's pretty much perfect offense.

Did you guys see the bucks that guy is getting paid?

In November, Bakhtiari agreed to a four-year extension worth up to $105.5 million. The deal made him the highest-paid offensive lineman in league history with an average base salary of $23 million.

NFC Chumps

What a Joke

Rams did have an off day and you guys won one from us yawn

Hope to see ya again in two weeks and it won't be close

BTW if somehow you went on to win a SB this year there will always be the big fat Covid asterisk hanging on the description so next season we all put you back in your playpen

Happy New Year

Jared Goff sucks. He couldn't carry Russell's jockstrap.

Thank God for that goofy faced kid Goff or the Rams might be scary. I predict they will be better offensively with wolford. Not good enough if we face them again though.

Trollin the NFC west champs forum on new years weekend. Must be a pretty sad existence

. Oh and by the way Russ Wilson has never missed a game or even a practice in 9 seasons despite being sacked and especially hit more than almost every QB in that time, playing behind terrible lines.

In 2016 he received a high ankle sprain courtesy of Suh in the opener. Drove down for the game winner dragging a leg.He started week 2 despite the injury typically taking 2 or 3 weeks minimum to heal. A couple weeks later he suffered a pretty severe MCL sprain vs the 9ers and had to be removed from the game by the coaches, as far as I can remember the only time he's EVER left the field at all due to injury in a game.

He started the next week and beat your Lambs in a rock fight with injuries to both a leg and ankle. Then he sustained a tear in his throwing arm pectoral muscle and played and practiced every week of the season and 2 playoff games with 3 significant injuries.

If Russ Wilson had his right arm cut off he would throw left handed and still be better and tougher than Goff will ever be. :D :D

You are not intelligent dude. I'm pretty smart, IQ of 129 but it goes down a little every time I read what you write.

No kidding. It's funny, too, because almost no one takes his troll bait yet he still keeps coming in here. I actually have to feel sorry for his personal situation.

Regarding Russell and his guts. When after the Super Bowl where Cam Newton said that he didn't want to dive on a loose ball in a one score game in the biggest event on the planet because he was afraid he was going to get hurt, members of the Seahawk defense....the same players that had no love for Russell, saying cruel things like he wasn't black enough...all came out and said that their quarterback would have crawled through the hubs of hell in a gasoline suit to get to that ball.

Russ will dive in a pile, make a tackle , throw an actual stand up block . He can take some punishment . I was replaying the 2014 nfc title game where clay Mathews hits him in the jaw and spins his head backwards . Russ was out on his feet I’m sure but led the team back . Goff would have been napping .

As for our defense it’s got a 5 game streak holding teams to 17 or less , longest since 2014.
