A good no call on Adams. By the time Wolfords knee hits the ground, Adams shoulder is like 3 inches from Wolfords helmet. Not a thing you can possibly do.

Swains fault. Swain missed the block and clearly RW couldn’t see the defender.

Rams got a pick 6. That one can in part be blamed on the sideline tantrums of Metcalf. The other part of the blame is on the coaching staff and Wilson for trying to pacify him by forcing a throw into coverage.

Pete wastes a time out by throwing the challenge flag on that play where Goff was close to crossing the line of scrimmage when he released the ball. But it was easy to see he was not across from the replay. Pete does not use good judgment on those challenges. That time out might very well come in handy with 2:30 go before the half.

Cam Akers is killing us! And our tacking today is bad, bad!

That was about as bad as it gets... bad on both sides of the ball. Goff can’t throw the ball yet they’ve scored 13 points on O... offensively we knew it was going to be a battle... I was hoping we could win if we scored 23 points on O...we’ll probably have to figure out how to score 20 points in in the second half. Definitely put ourselves in a hole.

An unsatisfying effort against a wounded team. I understand they are a really good D, but Goff shouldn’t be able to beat us. Our O has not played well, although it is a familiar style of play - RW brilliant at sandlot ball, but struggles otherwise. We’ve seen it for years and more times than not we win. But it’s the TO game that costs us.

Under McVay, the Rams are 36-0 when leading at halftime.

Win or lose, you have to admire the season Chris Meyers has had. Pumping in 50 yd FG's at sea level on cold, damp day is pretty impressive. The guy has been money all year.

We're going to need a big break to get back in the game...a busted coverage, turnover, etc.

Their D is tough, and at this rate, ours is gonna tire out. If we can’t beat a QB with a broke thumb, we deserve to clean out our lockers.

I'm not turning off the tube yet. Russell always gives us a chance.

Man, Dickson has been nailing punts. Special teams have kept us in the game.

Rams showing why they the number one defense. If we can pull this off, should get easier. It's not looking good. These guys need to step up and win some battles and make some plays.

We look terrible... the Rams are a wounded unit and are embarrassing us. Offense no urgency. We should have gone no huddle at some point. Defense needs a turnover. It’s about to be a two score game.

Not sure why we didn't call a timeout. I guess Russell assumed that they were supposed to reset the play clock.

No, its his ignorance in drafting Offensive Lineman, and a lot of guys on this site have been defending our OL this year, they suck, giant Donkey Dicks!! Its gotten gotten so bad with River, that we are going to have to rename him Little Creek!

Got our butts kicked. Pretty sad. I knew this year wouldn't be great. Defense was too weak. Offense became inconsistent and bad. Russ and the offense couldn't keep it up.

Too little, too late. Our D couldn't tackle today, offense could stay on the field to give the D rest and then by the end of the day the D was gassed and gave up a couple of TDs.

Rams beat us on both sides of the ball today at the line of scrimmage. And the Ram defense just shut our anemic offense down. They locked our receivers down almost completely and pressured Russ all day long. Bad combination for the Hawks.

And I agree. Our O line needs an overhaul. They really struggled in pass protection today, even with Donald out.

Yup. We got too many ham and eggers on our O line.

Worse case scenario, this loss is going to have ramifications going forward. RW/DK can’t be happy being handcuffed for the second half of the season. Hawks need to figure this out. Another wasted year in RW’s prime. Supposedly you can’t win the game in the first half but basically all of our playoff losses under PC have come from big halftime deficits.

Yeah, the OL performance was bad, but more than anything my take is the same as trents'. The Rams were just better, and their defense was WAY better than the Hawks' offense. As frustrated as I was, I frequently found myself tipping my cap to the Rams more than blaming the Hawks.

Here's to next year, hopefully with improved lines on both sides of the ball.

Well, we have seen this anemic approach thru 2 OC’s. So.....

Good thing is, can watch playoffs without constant heartburn.

I was surprised myself at the lack of fire your team had.

We move on but a tough road it appears

Hope you all have a better 2021

We win the division but are another none and done in the playoffs.

Something has to change here. There just seemed to be a lack of energy out of the box in the playoff game and in all but the first several games of the regular season. I believe we have more talent, at least at the skill positions on offense than our performance and the scoreboard has been showing.

Is it a lack of creative offensive strategy?

Is it a mediocre O Line?

Is it a lack of appropriate mental/psychological preparation? A lack of intensity and fire?

What do you see is the problem and what do you see needs to change?

The offense just seems stale to me. I'm wondering if it is time for a different coaching philosophy.

Yes we need a new offense. We can’t pay a QB 35 million a year and then handcuff him to the point that he’s scared to throw into tight coverage. We need to decide can we trust RW or not? I agree there were times this year he looked bad, lost even. I’ve said it before I don’t know if he’s elite in his pre-snap reads. But it was way to easy for teams to take away DK this year. We need to figure out is DK who we think he can be? Throw the man the ball even when he’s not wide open and let’s find out! I mean Goff threw a lame duck into double coverage for a 45 yard gain. If you look at many of RW’s INT’s this year they were anomalies. Great play’s by DB’s, drops by WR’s, or miscommunication. Of his 14 INT’s this year (including yesterday’s) I would say at least 6, maybe more fall into the above categories.
