I was browsing through one of my favorite websites, and I came across this interesting graphic about our penalties over the past 3 games, all wins.
As you can see, in the past 3 games, we have an average of 4.67 penalties per game (4 against the Niners, 5 each against the Cards and Jets). That compares with 9.375 penalties per game, over twice as many, as in the previous 8 games.

I don't know if anyone has drawn a direct relationship between penalties and winning, but it's obviously better to have fewer penalties called against you than more. And in yesterday's game, penalties were huge, as they bailed us out in several critical situations.
Anyhow, I thought it worth sharing.
