Debatable, but I'm not sure he's at that level with this franchise. He *was* a longtime Hawk, though, and it's nice to see him coming back to retire as one of us.
Tru might not even make the team.

(he's signing a 1-day contract just to retire as a Hawk)

He's almost a throwback in terms of how classy he conducted himself while playing here. His 1st five seasons were pretty productive, especially 2007 when he had 7 INT's. After that, it dwindled for the most part.
I think I'll remember him as much for his mellow demeanor as anything else. He wasn't a shutdown corner by any stretch, but he did put his best foot forward during his long career as Seahawk.
I wish him all the best.
Well done, Tru.

Dude was classy. Just went through how much he made. And if he was smart he should have at least estimated 15 million in the bank right now. MINIMUM. That aint bad...

If he was as conservative with his money as he was steady with his play, he shouldn't have to work ever again.
I suspect those figures you came up with didn't include any endorsement or advertising revenues.
Then I took out fed taxes lucky for him he was with the Jags as well so no income tax state.

I didn't look closely enough at your #s, and this is kinda a general question, but don't NFL players (actually all pro athletes in general) pay state income taxes for games played in states that collect it?
The lack of an income tax is one of those hidden advantages we have over other teams in free agency that not too many people are aware of.

The States position was the athletes were working in those states during the games they played so they should pay that States income taxes.
I believe they equated it with performers who go on stage for a concert, but I might be mistaken.

Wow, must be the NFL athletes exception, cause when I went out of state to work a couple of weeks outside of Seattle back in the day, no one made me file in their state. Of course, I wasn't making millions either.
