This really was a deep draft, and the evidence of that is in the following lists.
These are the ones I know about so far:
Brock Coyle, LB, Montana
Dion Bailey, S, USC
Bronson Irwin, OG, Oklahoma
Garry Gilliam, OT, Penn State
Andru Pulu, DT, WSU
Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas
Chase Dixon, TE, Central Arkansas
Jimmy Legree, CB, South Carolina
Keith Price, QB, UW
Rumored camp tryouts:
Adham Talaat, DE, Gallaudet
AJ Harmon, OG, Georgia
Andrew Furney, K, WSU
Lee Doss, WR, Southern
Demonte McAllister, DT, FSU
Cam Hudson, DB, Troy
Zach Zulli, QB, Shippensburg
John Martinez, OG, USC
Of these names, SEVERAL of them are players who most had projected to be taken in the draft.
Jeffcoat was a projected 3-5th rounder by most "experts" I read. I'm VERY surprised he wasn't drafted. If he doesn't make this team, he WILL make someones.
In fact, Coyle, Bailey, Legree, Gilliam and Dixon were all projected to be drafted by many if not most "experts".
I personally was REALLY high on Coyle before the draft. He was one of those LB'ers on my radar who I thought we would take late, and who would end up being yet another Seahawks late round gem.
Also, if you haven't heard about it, do yourself the favor and look up the story behind Adham Talaat, DE, Gallaudet.
I'd bet after reading about him, that you will be rooting for him to not only make the team, but be a star.
If you haven't heard of Gallaudet as a school, it's because it's a school that has specialized in teaching the deaf/hard of hearing.
There are SEVERAL names on these lists that I fully expect to not just make the team, (if not ours, then another team) but eventually start.
I guarantee that most of the ones who don't make our team will be QUICKLY snatched up by other teams.
