This really was a deep draft, and the evidence of that is in the following lists.

Of these names, SEVERAL of them are players who most had projected to be taken in the draft.
Jeffcoat was a projected 3-5th rounder by most "experts" I read. I'm VERY surprised he wasn't drafted. If he doesn't make this team, he WILL make someones.
In fact, Coyle, Bailey, Legree, Gilliam and Dixon were all projected to be drafted by many if not most "experts".

I personally was REALLY high on Coyle before the draft. He was one of those LB'ers on my radar who I thought we would take late, and who would end up being yet another Seahawks late round gem.

Also, if you haven't heard about it, do yourself the favor and look up the story behind Adham Talaat, DE, Gallaudet.
I'd bet after reading about him, that you will be rooting for him to not only make the team, but be a star.
If you haven't heard of Gallaudet as a school, it's because it's a school that has specialized in teaching the deaf/hard of hearing.

There are SEVERAL names on these lists that I fully expect to not just make the team, (if not ours, then another team) but eventually start.
I guarantee that most of the ones who don't make our team will be QUICKLY snatched up by other teams.

The Gilliam kid from Penn St is another nice story.
He's overcome a lot just to get this far.
Those are the guys that if their work ethic and determination match their heart, they have a good shot at becoming a legit player in the league. And since he's an OT, I'd really like to see him stick around:)

You know Zorn, the thing that I will hate, is seeing SO MANY of these guys perform at a high enough level to be starters for most teams, then end up getting cut here, just because we're so freakin solid already.
Several of those guys were already on my radar from before the draft, they are guys who I would be rooting for to make the team...but breaking onto this team, or even getting safely stashed away on the practice squad is TOUGH here now.
Making the Seahaws team is really difficult now....this team is LOADED with talent, far more than the Seahawks organization has ever accumulated before in it's entire history.

If the Seahawks only carry six WR's or only five (it's VERY likely they will only carry six at most) then that means that there's a VERY high chance that either one of our two new rookie WR's gets cut, OR that Kearse or maybe Baldwin gets cut or traded. Think about that.
And that's at a supposedly WEAK position!!!

The competition on this team right now is so fierce, it's awe inspiring. When it's a real possibility that a player who just scored a touchdown in the Superbowl in his last game last year could get cut or traded away because of competition, then it is an amazing time to be a Seahawks fan! What a team this is!!!

I think we end up scoring big through one or more of the UDFA's we bring in.
Pete and John, for as hit or miss they are with their 1st picks in the draft (though I like what I'm hearing about Richardson), have his some home runs with walk on players, in addition to the late round gems.
