2014 nfl hall of fame speeches: who gave the best one?

Postby rottweiler » Sun Aug 03, 2014 11:30 pm

We all obviously found Big Walt's 2014 NFL HoF induction ceremony speech to be the best and/ or most moving. But aside from his, whose speech do you think was the best?

I loved Aeneas Williams' speech, myself.

Bet that guy just might make a good U.S. president someday.

Rott!

How are you, brother? Good to see you.

I liked Brooks speech myself after Walt's.

Season's right around the corner...can hardly wait.

I liked them all for different reasons, but I thought Ray Guy did the best job.

So glad to see you posting Rott. I have been concerned for you and I hope your summer has gone better than your spring.

I loved his speech, too.

It's nice to see a punter's finally gettin' some love — even if he is a frick'n Raider.

Thanks, man. Means a lot.

No need to be concerned about me.

Lotsa folks have much bigger problems than either of us could dare to imagine.

We'll be okay. We're tough.

Good to see you again, Rott!!

I didn't see any of the HOF speeches, so I can't offer an opinion. I only came into the thread to say hello.

Stray, like him or not, was the best public speaker and has a way about him I enjoyed his speech & I liked him & the Old cats the best, besides WJ of course. I was torn between feeling like this was their time to shine and they all, save WJ of course, went waaaay too long.

In the end, I was proud of Jones.

Nice to see you, Rott.
