Yes I think Sweezy has played Great - Unger Good - Carpenter Better than average - Okung - below average - Britt - fine on run but getting blown up in Pass Protection.

Man I would love to have seen Lacy in a Seattle Uniform - Wasn't he a fifth round draft pick?

Your assessment of the OLine is pretty accurate.

That was a make-up hold!

That'll teach Bruce Irvin to give the Packers bulletin board material.

Yeah the scary thing for us is the Packer defense played well, they just couldn't stop us. Our Offense looked great.

Already I am hearing fans of other teams talk more about the Packers playing bad than the Seahawks playing good...not really a surprise, just makes me laugh. When will they get what they are seeing?
Rodgers didn't play poorly (I keep hearing that), the Packers aren't overrated at all (I keep hearing that too) the Seattle Seahawks are just REALLY THAT GOOD!!! We just beat a top ten (in the NFL) team, and beat them badly.

The scary part is, the offense looks exactly like we thought it would, Beastmode is still Beastmode., but Russell Wilson is going to have an incredible year, he looks like he is poised to break into that elite QB territory. Percy Harvin brings a whole new dimension to the offense that forces a defense to cover every blade of grass, and all the other receivers, as a unit look far faster and better than last years group.

The rest of the league had best sit up and take notice, Seattle is scary good, and EASILY the most talented/best team in football.

IMO, Darrell Bevell called one of his best games to date.

I mean, this was playoff claibre X's and O's that really paid off during crucial moments in the game.

Agreed I mean if the o-line just steps it up a little in pass protection this could be scary.

I think so, too, but I want to see how well we play on the road against a playoff quality team like the Chargers. That game ought to be a better test for us than the Packers at home.

The other fans did see a lot of mistakes by the Packers. They mis managed a couple of situations, like going for it at midfield and down by 10. Stupid decision. And the Pack was pretty beat up on the OL. But they're ignoring the other side of the equation. Stupid decisions and beat up offensive linemen didn't cause Lynch to gain over 100 yards.

We're a lot better balanced this season. A healthy Percy Harvin has changed the dynamics of our offense.

In this game, i thought our entire O-line played better than they have been playing. and did so as a unit, which is most promising. If we stay healthy and this unit can play together, I really like this lineup.

B's across the board with pluses to Sweezy and Carp.

I don't think that them going for it was stupid. Lynch was gashing them. Harvin had them shook. I don't think they believed they could get 2-3 stops on the Seattle offense down the stretch. And they probably felt (correctly) like if they didn't score the game was going to get away from them. It was fourth and short with the best QB in the league under center who is athletic enough to either pass or run for it. They probably should have called timeout when they got disorganized but I think going for it was the right call.

It's also pretty common for the Packers to go for it on that down and distance in that area of the field. It wasn't something they were doing out of sheer desperation. They believe they can convert those with regularity.

4th and 1 or 2, yea, I can see that. But it was 4th and 5, which makes it a lot more problematic, puts them in a passing situation with their banged up OL, and the downside was giving us the ball at midfield. Agreed about the failure to call the timeout, and I think the announcers were correct in stating that the wasted timeouts in the first half made them a little more stubborn in that they didn't want to do the same in the 2nd. They were still in the game at that point, only down by two scores. Going for it gave everyone the sense that they were desperate, and losing confidence in their defense.

Honestly I wasn't all that impressed with Lacy. Sure, he broke a couple runs but my assessment of him was that he's tough and hard to bring down but his lateral game is almost non-existent. Seattle's style of swarming to the ball and plugging the hole took Lacy completely out of his power game. He finished with 2.8 yards per carry and was out with a concussion (hopefully nothing too serious).

Britt, I thought, didn't do too poorly for a rook in his very first real NFL game against Matthews. I expected him to whiff on a couple of blocks, but he also displayed some real intelligence on more than one occasion and really, Peppers and Matthews weren't all that much of a factor (TE blocking was KEY). All in all the O line didn't do too bad. It IS the first game.

RW did well, although to my eyeballs he looked a bit tight to begin the game. Of course if that's RW looking a bit tight to start I really need to not complain. So much crazy, unique looks to the Seahawks on offense. That fake read option pass for a TD was fantastic. Percy was a warrior. And Beast. What more could you say about that guy. I had really been trying to play arm-chair GM in my thinking on him. You know, "he's getting old let's get one more season out of him and part company at the end of the year" sort of line of thinking. Watching him last night changed my mind. I don't know, throw money at him each year until his legs fall off or he decides to retire? I'm glad it's not my call. How can you not love that guy?

Impressive.
