Basically he got flagged for inappropriate language in the game after throwing an INT. After the game he said that he didn't say anything. The next day there was an article out at ESPN discussing how the Niners were complaining to the league that he didn't say anything and didn't deserve a penalty. Kaep actually even said the bears players were baking him up. Now it turns out those Bears players are saying that he actually did use the N-word and should have been penalized. Overall this is not a big deal but what kind of an insecure entitled little b**** do you have to be to just lie about what you said. If I were his coach/organization and I publicly defended him and it turned out he was lying the whole time I would be pissed. What a tool! This is the type of crap you never have to worry about with Russ, it just looks bad.

I'm with obi on this one. Kaepernick is a step above Alex Smith. He has a major league arm with wide receiver speed and elusiveness. He is a very dangerous and formidable opponent that DC's have to game plan against and has a huge upside should he ever figure things out. I would much rather face a team led by Alex Smith than I would one led by Kaepernick. The discussion here is all about his personality, not his ability as an NFL quarterback.
I also agree with obi about how close the Niners are from implosion. They've had some major distractions during the offseason, have a pending one in the form of Ray McDonald's DV accusations, and could easily slip off the deep end with another couple of losses. If I'm a Niners fan, I'd be pretty nervous right about now.
