Anyone else see Murray step out of bounds?

Postby RiverDog » Mon Sep 29, 2014 5:20 am

In last night's Saints-Cowboys game in perhaps the 3rd quarter, DeMarco Murray scored a touchdown from 25+ yards out. I could have swore that he stepped out of bounds, ran my recording back and saw his right foot clearly on the white of the right sidelines, but the announcers didn't say anything and the XP went on without delay.

Did anyone else notice this or are my eyes deceiving me?

I didn't see that particular play, no.

What I have noticed league wide is the consistency of enforcing the play clock. Some crews seem to be pretty attentive to it, while other games I've watched have had nearly a full second expire after the clock has hit zero, and the play goes on as usual.

Oh, come on man... it's the new "Percy Harvin" rule, of course!
