Our Offensive line can't dominate and control the ball like those that beat us. It's our Achilles heal and hasn't been addressed properly the last few years.

LOB got their asses kicked, DL got their asses kicked, OL got their asses kicked, receivers played like sh*t, and RW played like sh*t.

I think it's safe to say we need to find some new wrinkles for our offense. Looked like DAL knew what was happening more than our own players did way too often.

So discouraging.

Yeah but its one game. Anyone watching the Cowboys the last month had to know they were a true contender in the NFC. Seattle played like that at St Lois last year and escaped with the win but they hoisted the Lombardi at the end. I dont think the sky is falling quite yet but they needed a new wrinkle today for sure.

Of course you're right, but it's really hard to watch what is supposed to now be a mature defense get owned like that. Just feels like contenders shouldn't *ever* give up a 3rd-and-20 conversion at crunch time.

I'm on the ledge, but I won't jump yet. Grrr.

Romo made a phenomenal play and the reciever made an even better one. I'm not certain Romo wasn't overthrowing Witten and Wright was at the right place at the right time. A play like that is almost fate. And lets face it Seattle's D is different because they dont have the depth coming in to the secondary when injuries happen or we go nickel and dime. But its still one game. Tough road stretch so better put on the big boy pants and get better quick.

Yeah.... In addition to not getting ANY turn-overs, we continue to let offenses move the ball against us in the MOST critical times.

This game (on the score board) was waaaaay closer than it really was. Our issues, as I see them:

1. We lack secondary depth (in a BIG way) which was a major strength last year. Not only does it kill us when injuries happen, the lack of depth is clearly hampering us in nickel packages.
2. Sloppy & inconsistent o-line play continues to kill us. Outside Unger being injured - this is the issue that pisses me off the most as I just don't feel like this CRITICAL area has been addressed over the last few years. Today, their idiotic false start penalties continued from last week.
3. The cute play calling wasn't so cute. Those predictable sweeps to Harvin (& the one from Walters (horrible decision)) were hard to watch. Either Marshawn is injured or Bevel is dumb. The stupid play calling led to to the lopsided time of possession and a loss that was much worse than it looks on the scoreboard
3. WRs were not getting separation and wer dropping balls.
4. Injuries happen... No excuses - we really missed Zach and Max.
5. The lack of pressure on the QB is alarming. EFFIN ALARMING. THE lack of pressure on the QB, IMHO, is the reason for the lack of turnovers.
6. League-wide officiating continues to be a giant bummer. I thought the the officials were very shitty today. I'm certainly not blaming the loss on them, but they were wildly inconsistent.
7. This was not Pete's best game plan. Short week, shmort week. Bleh

Honestly, still trying to figure out what the hell the offensive and defensive game plans were today. Dallas was custom built for Seattle, a bottom dwelling run defense, against the number one rushing offense in the league and you decide to not feed Marshawn? RB's who apparently aren't to be covered at all, at any point on a team that throws the ball consistently to the RB's? I'm sorry, I simply don't get it. Honestly with how many unforced errors on the Cowboys part there were, even mediocre play calling and execution SHOULD have turned this into a blowout for the Hawks ( two fumbles that led directly to TD's and a blocked punt returned for a TD equates to a pretty lopsided loss, even though the score was closer than it should have been)?

WTF? Wilson may indeed have just turned in one of his worst performances to date ( following IMHO the best) he for the first time IMHO looked "flustered" and completely hesitant. Something I haven't witnessed from him to date. The plan seems to have been force feed this receiver or that depending on the drive, and zero noticeable changes were made at the half. Once again the short dump off pass kept a team in a game, and ultimately beat the Seahawks. There is simply NO way to excuse once again giving Lynch less than 15 carries, NONE. Harvin is supposed to be PART of the offense, NOT the offense, and for whatever reason Bevel seems to get geeked out about him, and then proceeds to force the amount of touches he receives , usually at the cost of Lynch, it happened in SD, and it has happened again, and yet he simply doesn't seem to fricken learn.

The defense, simply is NOT swarming to the ball, and for some reason today blitzed far mor often than typical. The injuries ( Maxwell, and Wagner for a series) doesn't explain ( at least to me) why the entire defense seems to be slow to the ball.

Uggh. I'm dissapointed, and a little embarrassed for the player today. Only the special teams "came to play" and that simply isn't good enough.

We deserved to lose this one. We were out-played in every phase of the game by a team that looked better prepared and hungrier. We looked like we didn't belong, and we could put points on the board when we were gifted turnovers in Cowboy territory. It is far from over, but this team can be so much better; I just don't know what it is going to take to turn it around.

Honestly, with the exception of the GB game, this team hasn't played a complete game, and that more than anything else is so incredibly frustrating to me. There seems to be an alarming amount of apathy, simply do not see the same fire, hunger and passion that I witnessed last season ( and no not just late in the season), I'm not entirely sure why this is the case, but regardless of what some see Dallas as, there is simply no way someone can convince me Seattle should have dumped this game at home.Dallas is an inconsistent team with a lot of holes on defense, and yet Bevel and co couldn't find a weakness? Even the Lambs with their offense found weakness' to exploit.SMDH.

I do think Dallas is a solid team. I thought we were better. Who knows long term, but we were NOT the better team today. PERIOD.

I don't know who I'd give the game ball to today. (I mean on our team). There is usually someone who jumps off the page - even In a loss. Nobody does. Maybe Doug for the blacked punt?

Here's hoping we turn it around & beat the Rams.

The hawks have neglected the OL for too long and its biting us in the butt.

Tate > Harvin.

Bevell sucks at play calling.

I think that sums it up

The blame birds are out. Tate > Harvin???? LMAO.

That's just silly. We were flat, out-coached & got beat by an inferior team. (Or at least I hope so). Right now, HFA seems a stretch and we aren't getting the balls bouncing our way like they did last year. The int in Houston, the comeback vs Tampa kap barfing out 3 take always in the 4th Q of the nfccg etc. Even when we played badly (Houston, ST. Louis, Tampa, Tennessee etc... We won. We are losing those battles this year, every bounce landing I. The arms of the other team, calls going against us etc... But Tate is not better than Harvin. He may be being deployed better right now, but he ain't better.

We will get it turned around. Go hawks.

IMO, this have been the biggest problem so far this year defensively. We give up some big run games here and there, but lack of pass rush is something the LOB can't make up for all the time.

Beyond that, Bevell needs to recognize sooner that our possessions in games like today's are gonna be limited. It was apparent very early on that this was going to be a struggle, and definitely by halftime when Dallas scored 17 unanswered points.

It was a poor gameplan offensively, and as others have noted, Harvin is being hamstrung by a lack of imagination. That said, it's difficult to dial up med/deep pass plays when you have an OL deficient in pass protection. The fact that RW has only been sacked 8 times this year is mainly due to his own elusiveness.

I didn't see this as a trap game to begin with, because you can't treat a 4-1 team as such, even if the general consensus was that the Cowboys were overrated coming in. Turns out they are tougher than anticipated.

We had one wake up call already in San Diego. We just had another today. I think this team can and will answer the bell.

BTW, Sista, that is a Beautiful picture of you:)
