Be nice to see them dump the soft zone, and maybe just once bring some heat. Seems like from an outside perspective, Baldwin was 100% on the money. This team believes they are so good, that discipline and the work necessary to win week in and week out has, and continues to suffer. Poor tackling ( again) poor play calling ( again) poor execution ( again) and simply believing they will win is going to sabotage a victory.

Yeah! I guess giving up HUGE plays on Special Teams will put the D on a short field or just keep them off completely :D

It would, but I doubt our o-line can block long enough to make it happen.

I HATE the soft zone. Hate it. I don't get why we're so willing to give up the 5-8 yard pass over the middle.

Bevell - would you call a play action Vertical Bomb to either kearse or Richardson? It is there for the taking.

5 receiver empty backfield no lynch? As soon as I saw that formation I was thinking Bevell What the F?

That was the perfect time for an inside handoff to lynch in a 3 receiver set.

Russell Wilson is simply a great football player. Forget all the silly debates about whether or not he's elite...he's just an awesome football player who can take a game over anytime.
As long as he remains with the Seahawks, we will always have a chance to win it all. Always. I love Russell Wilson!

My 13 yr old is losing his young mind over the lack of flags for the hits around the helmet. Turbo... Wilson... Crazy those didn't draw a flag.

Hello My Name is Dan Quinn - I have a secondary that is completely decimated - we are playing guys there who were on practice squad last year.

Yet up front I have solid strength for pass rushing across the line. Furthermore I have good linebackers who can blitz effectively.

So given these circumstances why whenever there are 2nd or 3rd and long I am not using my strength areas (up front) by blitzing 5 & 6 players and instead choose to rush only 4 and let the QB have all day to face off against the weakest part of my defense now?

There are no excuses for how badly our defensive game play calling has been ever since the San Diego game.

I don't know what I am missing out on when I conclude that Quinn is just getting his rear end handed to him every game by the opposing offensive coordinator.

Officiating way lopsided. No doubt - that was not a hold on the lynch TD. If it was, there was holding just now

Hate the officiating in this game and you're correct, that wasn't a hold. If it was, be consistent and call it both ways.

To be clear, I'm not saying the officials are the reason why we're getting our asses handed to us. No idea what game Quinn has been watching, but he's getting abused. SEND an extra man!
