O/T Raiders to San Antonia

Looks like Mark Davis met with a group from SA to move the Raiders there. Interesting. Don't think Al Davis would do that.

That would be interesting to see if the NFL would allow 3 teams in Texas considering it might weaken the Texans fan base somewhat. Both them and the Cowboys might lose some TV revenue as well but I think the Cowboys fan base is fairly secure. I'm not sure the Texans have enough history yet to be able to maintain their current revenue streams if the Raiders showed up in their back yard.

Just using it for leverage to get a new stadium.

Probably just leverage. It makes too much sense to stay in California where they want another team to locate.

PFT has an article that the Rams owner has a meeting with the Mayor of Inglewood California.
There may be more to that story than the Raiders in Texas.

Davis is NEVER going to get Oakland to pay for a new stadium, the city is too poor and could go into bankruptcy any time . What ever happened to that B.S. about the NFL "helping" a few cities/teams financialy so that they could get some new facilities??? Just what I thought, it was a Goodell B.S.

San Antonio Faiders, works for me!

Maybe Davis should court Salt Lake City? I am trying to think what would be a good name and/or mascot for a SLC Utah NFL team. Any ideas?? Maybe the Salt Licks or something like that.
