O/T a ROTTen word

Postby Zorn76 » Fri Nov 14, 2014 2:01 am

Hey folks - The ol' rott wanted me to pass along the word that he's lookin' for tix for this Sunday's Seahawks/Chiefs game, since he's now living 4 hrs south of the venue, but hasn't been able to get on the 'net for a little while now.

Anybody with suggestions on how to pick up a pair of tickets to this game would be appreciated here. Maybe somebody knows a fan who attends this game when we're at Arrowhead, or a website that's more reliable than others?

Thank you on behalf of our favorite dog.

The Chiefs are a tough ticket. I read yesterday that along with us, they have one of the lowest percentages of tickets exchanged on the secondary market. His best bet for advance tickets is NFL Ticket Exchange, but he can prolly get a better deal on game day. It helps to use a smart phone and show the street vendors what their competition is doing. I've seen them drop what they're asking for by 50% when shown what the current price is on NFL Tix Exchange.

Say hi to Rott for me.

Actually some reasonably priced tics on KC craigslist. Here is one example.http://kansascity.craigslist.org/tix/4760951995.html

I'd be real careful about any tickets bought via Craig's list. There are no controls or assurances.

I've bought dozens, yes!....dozens of tickets off of Craigslist and have never had a problem.

River, did you have any other suggestions? Or were just trying knock mine? Sure doesn't surprise me much..

Whoa, DR. I don't think Riv was attacking you personally, but his comment does fit perfectly with his personality. Somewhat pessimistic, a bit curmudgeonly, certainly untrusting of outsiders, and old fashioned in general. That's just Riv, IMO. I've also bought lots of tickets off of Craigslist and have NEVER had an issue, but every time (unless I have bought from the seller before) I am nervous about how the transaction is going to go down and if the tickets will actually work once I get to the stadium, so I can see why Riv would also be a bit hesitant.

Ya prolly shouldn't have went there. I just get tired of RD's constant negativity.

Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.
Help Rott get some tickets!

Mark, PM if you would like, I may have an opportunity to get some decent seats for SkipDogROTTentothecore.

I've passed along the suggestions to the dog.

I was not able to get in.

Have been having some serious drama with the poodle I've been courting in the late night hours.

(I think her folks ain't especially fond of interbreeding, the a-holes. But they'll get theirs eventually, 'cause we all know karma's a female dog. Up theirs.)

At any rate, the way the score went, I'm kinda glad I missed it. Because:

I don't like getting into fights with a-hole Chiefs fans with their bellys stuffed with baby-back ribs and skunky, watered-down beer — all of whom are ogling my honey and her raunchy mini-micro and torn-up fishnets. The KC jail don't sound to me like the most fun place for me to be. Eff it.

And I woulda been pretty frick'n vocal way the eff up there in those end-zone nosebleeds. The last time I went there with my dad and uncle in 2006 (we lost 28-27; Damon Huard was the Chiefs' QB; Seneca was ours), I nearly got into a coupla fights with Chiefs a-holes there.

Chiefs fans are steeeeraight-up, stone-cold ASSHOLES, pardon my french.

I don't think my having been there woulda made much of a difference in the game's outcome, either.

But when I get things ironed out with this honey of mine (who doesn't even like football) soon, we'll hit a Cowpukes game. and I'll be sure to have gotten the tix way ahead of time.

Will make sure she dresses even trashier for that one, 'cause I've kinda always wanted to go to jail in Dallas for takin' out a Cowpuke fan's front teeth.

I can't wait.

I love you, too, Sista.

And you, DR.

And yes, RD, you're way too negative. Maybe you need to get in a few fights. I think that'd help ya. Just sayin'.

Thank you, Mark, for having started this thread, my man. God bless you, brother.

Screw you, DR! I was just trying to offer a piece of friendly advice and you have to lash out at me. Here, check this out:

I'm sorry for going off, but I'm a diehard Seahawk fan since the get go in 1976, and I get real tired of this constant complaining about my 'negativity". If you guys want to vote me off the island, the go ahead and I'll gladly leave. But it's getting to the point that I can't even give a friendly piece of advice to a fellow 12 without having my motives questioned.

Keyriste RD, ever think that maybe the constant complaints about your negativity, might actually come from your constant negativity? Not attempting to stir sh$t, just pointing out that it might be just possible, that everyone seeing the same thing, might actually have a basis in, you know, you projecting that.

DR even said he probably shouldn't have gone there, and your telling him to screw off, in a thread that is suggestions for Rott getting tickets? Seriously? Come on man, either face this stuff, or continue to pretend it is everyone else that is wrong, but leave that stuff at the door. You're better than that.
