Go Hawks - let's get the Eagles.

Since the Cowboys beat us earlier this year, I thought they'd have the advantage if we end up with the same record, provided they were in the WC slot and not division winner. Same with GB, I'd think we'd want them to finish in the WC situation, since we do own the tie breaker there.
I did see that we are now currently the #5, which is huge, because that would have us play the #4 team - the NFC South division winner - in the first round, should things end up finishing as is.
Regardless, I'm not thinking of winning the West until we are within one game of doing it. Next week in Philly is going to be a b****. The Eagles, amazingly, are playing well. That win in Dallas was no joke. The are capable of putting a whoopin' on anybody right now.
But so are we.
Last night was Awesome. The bay area (where I live in CA) is going NUTS. They are convinced their season ended last night. And for all intents and purposes, it may have.
Go Seahawks!!!

The Match ups ( of which you mentioned one Pass O vs Pass D) IMHO favor actually the Falcons in this weekends game ( add in an anemic rushing attack by ARZ something Atl has issue with, and a very strong screen game against a blitz happy defense) Atl isn't a team that relies on pounding the rock, and Ryan doesn't hold the ball long, I honestly believe the Falcons win this game, and it might not even be all that close.

I'm the "cautiously optimistic" type more than anything, particularly when looking to get help from a 4-7 team.
The Cards are vulnerable - we proved that - but that is a very prideful team that Arians has. They are embarrassed, and they will be pizzed heading into Atalanta.
Hope you're right.
I posted elsewhere that if we beat Philly next Sunday, we'll essentially be a lock to get into the postseason. Another big road win will have us firing on all cylinders heading into the final 3 games, with 2 of them being at home.

Is it time to start getting more optomistic?
I agree completely that Wagner is the most underrated defensive player
Kuechly has a ROTY and DMVP award sitting on his mantle at home, and for my money, I'll stick with the guy in Seattle.

The one this Sunday. Go Hawks! Beat the Eagles!

The way our defense is playing, it is only necessary for our offense to be ordinary. And they have been more than that. Even our offensive line, which has been offensive for much of the season, is playing better. I kept complaining that we were not blocking well and not opening holes, and then I saw the stats, and they were not so bad, after all.
It seems that there are not a lot of teams that will want to play the Seahawks from here on out. As like, maybe, nobody. I am certainly happy to have our "game manager", as he seems to be managing just fine. I thought on Wilson's TD run that he might have done a pirouette and a high step at the end. But, no, our conservative leader maintains his cool.
The punt fumble made me edgy, as I had been pretty sanguine about the game up till then, made me nervous, but that was the end of it. Kick some bucks.
Amazing that the biggest question is whether the current defense is better than last year. To me, it is the same. Kam. Sherm. Wags. Earl. Bennett. and so on. Bring the Boom.
