We still have those same problems in the red zone on offense, having to settle for FG's instead of TD's. The Niner O-Line is blowing our D-line off of the LOS, that is not a good sign. This on a day when the Packers lose opening up the possibility of the Seahawks earning HFA. They just got to take advantage of this.
Yes the offensive line is just such a constant source of frustration. They kill so many drives with stupid penalties and plain inability to pass block.
Russell's worst decision of the year to throw that pass. I don't understand that play call at all. Bad enough they had to go for it, Russell's decision made it even worse.
Really just an awful decision on the final play of the half, both the call ( who the hell runs a skinny post to the middle of the field with 8 seconds left at the end of the half) and execution, ball sailed, should have been fired out of the back of the endzone if for no other reason than to get a FG. Plenty of "head scratching" moments in the first half.
Pull your heads out fella's and get back to playing Seahawks football. GO HAWKS!
What would that have been - a 50 yard FG? It seems to me a low % play too throw it down the middle with no timeouts and 8 seconds left. Who even called that?
Absolutely atrocious play calling at the end of the half. Even the play before the interception - if Baldwin would have caught that the clock would have kept running and there was only 12 seconds left - not sure the seahawks would have been able to line up and spike the ball in that period of time.
I was worried all week about this being a trap game - hearing "12's" speak all disrespectfully about the 49ers and reading all the tombstone articles about the 49ers, Harbaugh and Kaepernick.
They showed up ready to play a Superbowl today - this should have been easily foreseen by nearly everyone.....
