Translation: He had just pounded a 40 and a shot or two before jumping into a van and was even more piss drunk by the time the alchohol had hit his system. The 880 is a CA HWY that runs from Oakland to San Jose, which interestingly enough, is the city which Aldon Smith currently resides in.

So I am sure this guy would just be a peach if he lived here in the bay playing for the 49ers. No really he'd actually have been at the same parties Aldon Smith's been at doing the same things. And anyone who thinks any different has a sugar high from eating too many skittles. The only real difference is that he is stuck up in a little city with his biggest temptation being a mocha or Ice Americano.

But let's throw Skittles at him because he can run for 80 yd TDs but talk about Aldon as the scum of the earth. Hillarious or sad?

I am having trouble seeing the connection here. Was lynch suspended by the league for this? After being suspended did Lynch continue to find himself accused of breaking the parameters of his suspension? Next time lets try to compare apples to apples.

Ah... but he hasn't been at those parties doing those things, so again apples to oranges.

Pay particular attention to the parameters Smith agreed to, and accepted for reinstatement to the league ie " Aldon is not allowed ANY alcohol consumption of ANY kind" part, meaning yes, the league could / would suspend him for said glass of wine at his relatives Christmas party if they learned of it. How do we know more about your player than you??

And just an FYI per Aldon Smith, he WAS there for a "little over an hour" , so not sure you want to stick with that particular excuse.

The above statement is not true. For at least two decades, it has been very common as terms of probation/reduced sentence for courts to insist on total abstinence from alcohol or other drugs. What they used to do is give you a pager that you had to carry 24/7 and if you received a page, you had X amount of time to report for a BAC test. The incident North Hawk noted about Matt Pratner is a classic example. His claim was that he had 3 beers in his home.

Smith himself says that he's been tested regularly for sobriety. I don't know if the requirement in his terms is zero tolerance or not, but it's certainly not going to be the .08 threshold for DUI's, so we're not talking about much more than a drink or two if it isn't zero tolerance.

What? The self implied lawyer, legal expert wrong about the law yet again? Sheesh Future, how many times are you going to talk completely out of your ass before you learn a lesson.

Yea, we do need Future to come back into this thread and take his medicine.
