Official #1 NFC Seed Post Game Thread

Postby savvyman » Sun Dec 28, 2014 6:21 pm

This game actually reflected much of how the season went. Struggling early - falling behind, uninspired play and then in the second half of the rams game (and current season) our Superbowl Champions returned.

Congratulations to the greatest team in Seattle Sports history on a remarkable regular season and #1 NFC seeding for the playoffs.

Congrats Seahawks! I thot the Rams played tough but the Sea D eventually did us in. Wish you the best in the playoffs as I have come to like your team alot. It appears you will face the Cowboys who look great but the thought of a Romo - Brady media pewkfest is something that I cannot handle.

A month at home for the #1 football team and then another trip to AZ's place coming.

Congratulations to the Seahawks! NFC #1 again.

Props to you, Rambo, for passing along your congrats.

The Rams are a very tough team and, clearly, Fisher has them heading in the right direction. Your defense is playoff calibre already, just need a franchise QB and a couple more playmakers on O to tip the scales the other way. Stl played hard all afternoon, and I expect them to be a playoff team here shortly.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks end the season as winners of 9 out of 10.

A remarkable achievement considering that we were 3-3, and had very little margin for error to repeat as NFC West Champions, let along getting HFA.

Seattle is clearly the team to beat in the conference, especially since the road to the SB goes through us.

Bring it on.

Go Seahawks!!!

Nice touch, Rambo! Your team matches up well against us. Home or away, our contests are tough games. I don't think there's a playoff team in either conference with as tough a defense as the Rams have. If you guys ever get a quarterback you're going to be a perennial playoff participant.

We won't face the Cowboys unless it's in the NFC Championship game, so they'll have to win two before they get to us, assuming we win our first game in the divisional round. If they win their wild card matchup against the Lions, which IMO is going to be a very tough matchup for them, they'd have to win in Lambeau before coming up here. They definitely have the toughest road to hoe of any team in the playoffs.
