Name that QB

Postby Anthony » Thu Jan 01, 2015 10:16 pm

I decided to due a little analysis of some of the top QBs based on yards from scrimmage, total tds, total TOs, total Yards per play(YPP), td/TO ratio

So name that QB
4341 yards 26 tds 7 TOs, 570 attempts, 7.8 YPP, 3.7 td/int ratio
3766 yards, 34 tds, 12 TOs, 461 attempts, 8 YPP, 2.8 td/int ratio
5034 yards, 42 tds, 23 TOs, 680 attempts, 7.3 YPP, 1.8 td/int ratio
4703 yards, 39 tds, 17 TOs, 621 attemtps,7.5 YPP, 2.4 td/int ratio
4166 yards, 33 tds, 11 TOs, 618 attempts, 6.778 YP, 3 td/into ratio

Wilson

Romo

Luck

Rodgers

Brady

Those are my guesses.... I know Romo didn't crack 4k and that Luck did crack 5k with his normal propencity for turning it over. Not entirely sure, but that feels right.

I'd guess Wilson, Rodgers, Luck, Romo, Brady.

Because I probably inserted one QB who wasn't on the list, like Brees should be there instead of Romo or something...

Correct but wrong QB who wasn't on the list and wrong QB to add. I did not include Rodgers or Brees, though I have their numbers too.

If not guessed already I will give the correct answer tomorrow between 11-1pm

Wilson is either 1 or 2 based on the low number of attempts. I would lean towards #2 but wouldn't be surprised if he were the first one mentioned.

all right here we go in order

Wilson
Romo
Luck
Manning
Brady

The big point around this was how Wilson is right there with them all and in fact leads in some categories. This list minus Brees and Rodgers are 2 of the top QBs, the chosen one and the guy who some thinks is the MVP. Below is the list with Rodgers, Roethlisberger and Brees

4341 yards 26 tds, 7 TOs, 570 attempts, 7.8 YPP, 3.7 td/int ratio Wilson
3766 yards, 34 tds, 12 TOs, 461 attempts, 8 YPP, 2.8 td/int ratio Romo
5034 yards, 42 tds, 23 TOs, 680 attempts, 7.3 YPP, 1.8 td/int ratio Luck
4703 yards, 39 tds, 17 TOs, 621 attemtps,7.5 YPP, 2.4 td/int ratio PManning
4166 yards, 33 tds, 11 TOs, 618 attempts, 6.778 YP, 3 td/into ratio Brady
4650 yards, 40 tds, 8 TOs, 563 attempts, 8.2 YPA, 5 td/into ratio Rodgers
5020 yards, 34 tds, 18 TOs, 686 Attempts, 7.3 YPA, 1.9 td/int ratio Brees
4979 yards, 32 tds, 12 TOS, 641 attempts, 7.7 YPA, 2.6 td/int ratio Roethlisberger

Our Qb did very well in comparison, and then add in all the QBs above had better olines and WR and there you go.
