and they are awesome! http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-films-sound-efx/0ap2000000324306/Sound-FX-Safety-first
Listening to them try to rally themselves, while HEARING them meltdown...epic Superbowl win is epic!

Couple quick comments on them.
1. I freaking KNEW that was a bad spot! I KNEW that was a first down! The refs said it looked like a first down, somehow the replay booth still got it wrong...amazing how much that's happened this year.

2. Marshawn asking Pete if it's OK if they score some more points is one of the funniest things I've ever heard!

3. Earl telling Kam that he's a fan of his, and likes watching him play, and telling him that when he's just being himself, he set the tone...wow. So perfect.

4. The Broncos were trying, they were just completely outclassed, but the were VERY classy about the loss! Champ and Peyton was both consummate pros.

5. It's amazing how, sometimes what we fans think is happening, and thought would happen, like where we all thought that Percy would open things up because of his speed, was EXACTLY what was happening/ what happened, as confirmed by Richard Sherman.

6. The Broncos mentioned that our offense kept them on the field 13 minutes, "the whole quarter" essentially. Our offense got really overlooked because of the pre game hype of #1 vs #1, but the truth is, our offense DOMINATED them!!!

7. Watching it again, I can't believe we didn't actually seriously hurt one of those Broncos receivers...the hitting out there was UGLY! Sherman telling Welker never to say that he wanted them one on one, was awesome. Even better was Pete saying "Oh boy, Kam almost broke that guy." then shaking his head with a look of genuine concern for Welker's safety and well being...maaaann!
We seriously have the single scariest secondary of There is no doubt about it! But it wasn't jsut the secondary either, it was LBers D-Linemen...EVERYONE was out there just BRINGING the pain. It sounds so brutal, and sweet!

I found it interesting that trailing 43-8, Champ Bailey and teammates were discussing who from Seattle should be Super Bowl MVP.

Yeah I thought that was really interesting crumudgen. I can't imagine that Denver fans could be too happy about that. I know I wouldn't. My wife who is Lions fan mind you (talk about tortured lol) walked in the room right at that moment when I was watching it on NFL Network, immediately spoke up and said something to the effect of, "why would they be debating who wins MVP on the other team when you're getting your ass kicked? That's why they're losers."

That's something my wife would say. Your wife sounds as awesome as mine is. Lions fan too...that's some serious dedication that I, as a long time Seahawks fans who suffered through SO many years of failure can really appreciate.
Being a Lions fan is essentially the same as being a Cubs fan...it usually just means that you like Wrigley, or in the Lions case, you like their team colors, jerseys, or something. There's not much else to like...

I noticed that, too.
He got his wish - Malcolm won the MVP so a Defensive player walked away with it for once.

My wife stays true to her roots and she was born in Flint, MI. Lions, Pistons, Tigers and Michigan State.

Although I found a loophole to get her to wear a Seahawk Jersey. Her maiden name is Tate so starting next year (assuming he's resigned) she'll be sporting a #81 Seahawk Jersey on Sundays. Plus she loved when Golden waved goodbye to Janoris Jenkins, she might be a little bit of a jerk. lol

I loved watching Sound FX last night. That was awesome. All the highlights were have already been mentioned.
The discussion by the Broncos players as to who should be the MVP of the game was crazy. Champ said it should go to #53, but they will give it to Wilson. Then there was mention of Percy and I think Kam. I guess Champ is happy that #53 did get it?!?

If it were my Hawks having that convo is SB40, I would have been livid.

I was going to post this same thing, with the 2. thing about Marshawn asking Pete if it is ok to score more. I have talked with others before about this. Pete don't like to show everything he's got unless he really like's to keep games close if it can be done. And that moment right there at 2.50 minutes confirms it for me, maybe I am wrong and both him and Marshawn are just B.S.ing love it no matter what

6. The Broncos mentioned that our offense kept them on the field 13 minutes, "the whole quarter" essentially. Our offense got really overlooked because of the pre game hype of #1 vs #1, but the truth is, our offense DOMINATED them!!!

I know it's not a "tough guy" thing to notice or point out or maybe even admit to but one of the things that stood out to me the most was how many times these guys told each other "I love you." It was genuine and was just a real simple way of telling each other that together they had this. I appreciate that myself as a musician. Occasionally when I get to play a large venue and the need is there to put on an extra good show you can see the nerves set in just a bit. We tell each other that we love each other before going on stage just as a way of cementing the bond that brought us together to begin with. I realize it seems hokey and some of the more insecure types might call it gay (not that there is anything even remotely wrong with that-I won't entertain an opinion to the contrary) but I think we all saw that it's a powerful statement to make to your brothers or sisters when, as they say, the chips are down. Those guys played that game, together, with a passion I have NEVER seen before from a Seahawks team. I can't remember all of the games I've watched but I can pretty confidently say that that was the absolute best performance I have seen from my football team.

Power of love is real, bro. Don't even discount it. Oh, and I too was impressed with just how classy Manning was in the face of that humiliating defeat. Much respect.

A great exchange in there was between PC and the ref when Pete was complaining about Sherm getting shoved in the back on that deep ball.

Around the 15:00 mark- worth watching again if you don't remember it. :)

I found it interesting when Baldwin was going off to Cris Carter in the camera, and Pete was half heartedly telling him " no, no, no, no".

I don't think we will hear much from Baldwin anymore about that. He used it as motivation which is awesome. Cris Carter lit a fire up under his butt with his "appetizer" and "pedestrian" comments.

But you know Pete won't want his players talking too much like that in the future.

I did hear on Sirius that although Carter's play was great on the field, he has been quite controversial and is not a well like analyst amongst a lot players because of his personal attacks.

One thing that stood out to me was how "real" the Seahawks seemed with each other. There was an underlying belief in themselves and what they do. They just seemed like they would go into battle with their brothers and fight to the end.

Denver on the other hand, it seemed a little out of character some of the things said. When Welker was talking to them at one point on the sidelines, Manning wasn't even looking at him. It seemed to me that Manning is in his own little world, that his poop don't stink. Compare that to how RW3 was leading his group and they were following him.

Easy to say this stuff in hindsight now that we know the final outcome, but you could just feel the confidence the Hawks were portraying. John Fox seemed totally lost on the sidelines with what was going on. I would say Denver was in awe of what the Hawks were doing to them.

It was simply beautiful to watch.

Did anyone catch Carter right after the game?

When Sherm was in his press conf and Baldwin comes in and Sherm introduces him and Baldwin leans in and says (something like) "This is a mediocre cornerback... ME... DEE... OH... KER", and Sherm laughs and says "Yeah, and there goes a pedestrian receiver... an appetizer..."

They cut back to Carter, who they were obviously jabbing, and he looked like he just swallowed a dog turd.

He then proceeded to get so over-the-top defensive that he said (something like) "YOU WATCH, BALDWIN- YOU'LL BE BACK TO THIRD STRING NEXT YEAR!"

It was AWK. WARD. And pretty unprofessional to boot.

Didn't know that, but doesn't surprise me a bit after seeing what I described above.

I noticed that, too, and at many different points from different players. Someone would be saying something and those around him wouldn't be paying attention to him.

Wow, can anyone PLEASE provide a link of that or tell me where to look?
What a turd.
I saw Sherm's press conference where Baldwin broke in and called him me-di-ocre, and I about died laughing, but I never saw the camaera cut to Carter...I'd kill to see Carter lose his crap like that.

In addition to the ones already mentioned I also liked when Wilson was in the huddle telling the rest of the guys that he was going to do a hard double count and not to move when he does it. He then says 'Carp, you can hold your water, can't you? You are not going to have a bladder problem are you?" I about fell over LMASO. Since I don't remember Carpenter jumping offsides I had to wonder if Carpenter had jumped off sides in other games when RW did a hard count or if he really wasn't giving a side ways message to Okung who had had a couple of penalties during the SB. Either way, it was illuminating what gets said in a huddle.
