I never thought we would see the day. What a story of redemption, maybe the greatest comeback in the history of sports. A real feel good moment for this lifetime grass janitor.

Good to see Tiger win one again. He's had a lot of ups and downs, some self inflicted. It's nice to see the kid raised to be the greatest get back his mojo.

Yeah that raised up to be the greatest thing has its own double edge in itself. Pressure from the age of 3. He sure turned out better than Marinovich.

It was an incredibly emotional special day at the most amazing golf course on the planet. Couldn't happen at a better place

I'm kinda neutral on Tiger Woods. He did some great things for the sport when he first hit the tour but for whatever reason(s), he faded from the scene for most of what should have been the prime of his career. Nevertheless, it was nice to see him make a comeback.

I really enjoyed it and it was great to see the "eye of the tiger" in his eye again when Molinari got in trouble on 15. He nailed it at 16 and put it away there. Hitting his second shot into 18 with a 2 stroke lead, he had to know that he had won it at that point. No way he three putts 18. Great to see.

Now the question is, does he have enough to finally do the slam in one year? (He was real close and even had the lead on Sunday last year's final major if I remember correctly).

He had the lead at the British on Sunday last year and was one behind Brooks Kopecha at the PGA championship last year.

I doubt he can get the slam. He just doesn't hit it that far anymore relative to these kids who grew up idolizing him. But you never know.His short game is as good as ever. The monkey is off his back now and he seems healthy.

Thanks for the clarity - I didn't remember correctly on which tourney it was last year but to be in the hunt twice was pretty good, too.

Confidence is a huge factor to have on your side and I think he has that back now. I hope he does get the slam in one year and be the first to ever do it while tying Jack's 18 major wins at the same time. I'm also glad to see he's going to be getting the Medal of Freedom award. Great story from greatness to fall to redemption.
