RiverDog wrote:Nothing about him being a witch, but it does describe how Trump supposedly has dyed his hair orange. Apparently there's so much of the dye on Trump's shirt collars that they have separate washing machines for Melania's clothes.
Trump loved Tic Tacs. But not an arbitrary amount. He wanted, in his bedroom bureau at all times, two full containers of white Tic Tacs and one container that was half full. The same rule applied to the Bronx Colors-brand face makeup from Switzerland that Trump slathered on — two full containers, one half full — even if it meant the housekeepers had to regularly bring new shirts from the pro shop because of the rust-colored stains on the collars. A special washing machine in the laundry room was reserved for his wife Melania Trump’s clothing.

I don’t apologize for my style but I’m not offended by anyone else’s either. Even Burrton who I haven’t seen on this forum in a while. Bring it on . Regardless of your beliefs it’s most unhealthy when nobody cares about our political leaders anymore.
RiverDog wrote:As far as the circumstances in which Trump was elected, I agree. But I do worry about what might happen if we get someone like Warren or Sanders in there and the Senate flips. They could implement a change in government that would be everlasting...free health insurance, free college education/debt forgiveness, reparations for blacks, the Green New Deal, with the only plan to pay for it being nothing more than a promise to tax the rich, disarm the military, and an all out war on Wall Street.

Oh wait Trump had that for 2 years. Kill Obamacare? Not exactly. Wall? Wasn’t even brought to a vote. Executive orders were how he got things done . This economy has gone up and down and ultimately up through liberal Democrat and conservative republican administrations.
And right now this “best economy ever” is in such a huge bubble that when it breaks like they always do it’s gonna be interesting. We have record debt and almost annual deficits despite a peacetime economy , both nationally and personally. The Fed is lowering already low interest rates repeatedly while pumping hundreds of billions into the markets for “liquidity “ The stock market is wildly overvalued in light of 2% growth, contraction in manufacturing and business investment but people keep putting money in because it’s the only way to make money .
And all that happening in light of a massive tax cut for business most of which was spent on stock repos which help keep the market moving .
There is no hay in the barn , no tools left in the toolbox to handle another Great Recession , just tax cuts for wealthy in the midst of record debt.
Honestly those are the facts and smarter people than me can digest and explain them but it looks to me like we should worry more the guy in there now then anyone who might replace him.
Aseahawkfan wrote:Only part I don't agree on is that Trump is any worse than any other president as far as base policies. His biggest problem is his giant ego attached to his fingers and mouth that can't stop spewing forth trash talk and useless drivel. If he could learn to shut up, he would win re-election easily. The guy's such a big talking numbnuts that people will vote against him just because they are so tired of his big mouth and constant need for attention as well as his petty feuding with everyone that says anything even mildly negative of him.
