Christine Michael : A Big Heart

I hear in these parts that he didn't play much last year cuz he most likely can't block. I look forward to seeing what he can do this year. He also appears to be a generous man.

Good story.

Nice of Michael to do this.

I notice, too, that the reporter referred to our RB as, "Christian Michael". Not sure how you get that out of Christine, but, whatever. I also like the end of the vid clip where the camera remains on her for an extra couple seconds and she doesn't know what to do.

That's apparently how it's pronounced.

Edit:
On the same page we have the start of an NFC West Twitter Fight!

That's how he pronounces his name Zorn, Christian.

Read an article right after we drafted him that related how he spelled it Christian from grade school through HS as well, wasn't till he was in college that a local beat writer looked up his birth certificate and 'outed' him as Christine. But because it's what his mom put on his birth certificate he never made an issue of it and will answer to either.

I think it's cool as hell he's man enough not to care.

Thanks for the clarification, guys. And, yes, I like how he just kept the spelling myself.

Really would like to see him get 100 carries or so this season, too.

I thought I heard an interview where he said it's technically pronounced "kristin".

Sure he did, cause it's what his Mom put on his birth certificate. Doesn't change anything else that has been said.

Is pronunciation on birth certificates now, maybe next to the hand and foot prints?

(I'm merely saying he's clarified that "Christine", what his Mom put on his bc and that's typically pronounced "kristeen" with a long e, is pronounced "kristen", as in "Kristen Wiig")

Bull. You're trying to call me a liar.

Nothing he said (I saw the interview too) contradicts what I read and related here, in fact it meshed quite nicely.

Quit being a dick.

???

Where on earth do you get that I'm calling you a liar?? Your only post before taking issue with me was this where you talk about spelling, not pronunciation, and I said nothing about how his name's been spelled.

Nothing he said (I saw the interview too) contradicts what I read and related here, in fact it meshed quite nicely.

I know. So if nothing I said contradicts your post about different spellings, how am I calling you a liar?

You're right Burr, and I apologize.

It's no excuse and I know better but I had been having technical computer issues (unable to VPN in to my work from home), had been beating my head against it for a couple hours and had just resigned myself to having to drive into the plant, I checked in here to decompress for a minute and I misread your post (and obviously your intent). I sorta snapped before I even finished reading it. I usually have better self control than that.

Seriously, I am sorry. You're one of the good guys here and didn't deserve that.
