RiverDog wrote:Huh. And here I was thinking the exact opposite. How could anyone watch that game and see their quarterback carry the ball 9 times for nearly 100 yards and think he's hindered by a hamstring injury.
c_hawkbob wrote:But to address what you said, all those runs were relatively straight line (which is what Pete said he was still good with), there was not quick stop/start/sharp cut, ankle breaking spin moves etc. like we see from him when he is completely healthy.
And shame on you for using bare stats after your "lies, damn lies and then there's stats" mantra you so like to throw out there when the stats don't suit your talking point
NorthHawk wrote:Doesn't running in a straight line put MORE stress on the Hamstring?
That's where most of the injuries happen - when runners are running hard.
I can't remember the last time I saw someone pull a Hamstring when cutting or dodging.
I've seen lots of groin or abductor type injuries doing that, but not as many Hamstrings.
Maybe it's just me being inobservant...

Yea, I suppose I deserve that little poke. But my point wasn't so much about his accumulated stats as it was about his willingness to run the ball, perhaps twice as often as any game this season. We'll have to agree to disagree, but he does not look to me to be a person that his nursing a hamstring injury, or any other injury as far as that goes. I thought that he played with his balls out yesterday.

NorthHawk wrote:The FO has been penalized previously for not reporting injuries, so I doubt they are playing games now.
There’s just too much to lose by not reporting it.
Anthony wrote:Isnt it interesting, how people see what they want. We knoq for a fact he had/has a hanstring injury. Even in the last game the annoucers said something. Michael Robinson, who would know sais he is still dealing with it. I and others saw it. Yet some who want it to be age, refuse to even acknowledge he could be injured.
