I made my feelings clear ad nausea on the game thread - from the 2nd quarter on -- that the Seahawk's coaching staff was getting schooled by the Chargers coaching staff.
What is your grade for this game?

The effort was poor from top to bottom, haven't seen this defense look outclassed in a long, long, long time, and each and every player and coach better look in the mirror and tell themselves to stop believing the stupid hype, or it's going to be a long season. Receivers running free at all times, LB's that could chase down a three legged turtle, blown assignments, making Rivers look like the second coming of Joe Montana, and Gates like the greatest TE to ever play the game. Honestly this is the first game in three years that I can't say I was impressed with ANY player on the team, none.
That is by FAR the worst performance by the LOB,and the absolute worst game I have ever seen Sherman, ET or Kam play alone, much less combined.

Offensively, there's simply no way that Lynch should have run the ball as few times as he did, when we were getting KILLED in T.O.P. I realize we didn't have the ball much, but when we did, we were mostly throwing, and or trying to do our quick strike/gimmicky stuff...where's the Beast Mode?
In Seattle, none of what the Chargers did would have been enough to beat us, the Chargers game plan wouldn't have been enough to beat a better Seahawks team; but what the Chargers coaching staff did was put together a game plan that PERFECTLY took advantage of the heat and the home field advantage, from making us wear the dark jerseys to the way they used Gates and Woodhead in the passing game, and the way they used their defensive line to create pressure on Wilson. Brilliantly planned, brilliantly executed.
Chargers coaching staff gets an A for an impressive game plan on both sides of the ball, while our own staff, who had 10 days to game plan?
Big, fat F!
The team competed on both sides of the ball all game and the Defense should be congratulated for holding the chargers late in the 4th quarter which gave us an opportunity to get the ball back with 3 minutes to go.
